Celebrate Adonai

“What will you do at a designated time, on a day which is a festival for Adonai?”
Hosea 9:5 CJB

God has designated times throughout scripture for us to celebrate! We have a designated time to be born and a time to die! Also God has appointed a day of rest (Shabbat) and days throughout the year to celebrate Him! Unfortunately, many believers downgrade these appointed times, instead of just freely celebrating them and enjoying Adonai in them! It’s not a got to, it’s a get to! and one day we will all be celebrating the festivals of Adonai for all eternity!

“Finally, everyone remaining from all nations that came to attack Jerusalem will go up every year to worship the King, Adonai-Tzva’ot, and to keep the festival of Sukkot (Tabernacles).”
Zechariah 14:16 CJB

Sukkot, is probably the most joyful of all festivals in the Bible and it seems that we will be celebrating in the Kingdom! As believers we should look forward to spending any time that we can with Adonai!

“Rejoice in Adonai, you righteous; and give thanks on recalling His holiness.”
Psalm 97:12 CJB

Today, let’s always be looking for times to celebrate and rejoice in Adonai!
Have a blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

Do what God says!

‘I write him so many things from My Torah (Instructions), yet he (they) considers them foreign.”
Hosea 8:12 CJB

Israel got to the point that the instructions God gave them through His word weren’t important to them or necessary for them to live by! The same is happening to us today, the word of God isn’t important, even to some so– called believers who deny the Word of God!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so I won’t sin against you.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

If we really love God then we will be in His word, keeping it and doing it!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

Today, more than ever, we need to be reading and doing what the Word of God tells us to do! We need to live by His instructions!
Have a blessed day following His Word!
Shabbat Shalom!

Warn people

“They never say to themselves that I remember all their evil. Now their own deeds surround them; they are right in front of Me.”
Hosea 7:2 CJB

In times past people tried to hide their sins, even though God still saw them! But, now people pridefully are open about their sins, having celebrations and parades, basically spitting in the face of God!

“First comes pride, then disgrace; but with the humble is wisdom.”
Proverbs 11:12 CJB

Realize God sees all and the sad thing is that many people today try to justify their foolish sins as if God is somehow ok with them! We need to be like Jeremiah and Hosea, warning people to repent of their sins and turn to God!

“The pride of Israel testifies in His face, but in spite of all this they haven’t returned to Adonai their God or sought Him.”
Hosea 7:10 CJB

The sad thing we see around us is pride and sinners spitting in the face of God! What we need to be doing is sharing the love of God in this ugly, prideful world!
Have a blessed day sharing the joy of Adonai!

Repent

“In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; whoring is found there in Efrayim, Israel is defiled.”
Hosea 6:10 CJB

This is a warning for everyone, understand, judgment is coming and no one will get away with sin! Remember, God sees everything and we all will have to answer to Him one day!

“In the name of Myself I have sworn, from My mouth has rightly gone out, word that will not return-that to Me every knee will bow and every tongue will swear about Me that only in Adonai are justice and strength. All who rage against Him will come to Him ashamed, but all the descendants of Israel will find justice and glory in Adonai.”
Isaiah 45:23-25 CJB

One day God will come and make all things right, but those who reject Him will be judged!

“But as for me, I will look to Adonai, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.”
Micah 7:7 CJB

Knowing that God will judge, what we need to be doing is sharing Salvation and giving people the opportunity to repent! God always hears repentant sinners!
Have a blessed day sharing the hope we have in Yeshua!

Return to God

“Their deeds will not allow them to return to their God, for the spirit of whoring is in them, and they don’t know Adonai.”
Hosea 5:4 CJB

No matter what good things we think we do, it will never bring us any closer to God! The key to getting close to God is repentance, turning away from sin!

“He delivers even the unclean; so if your hands are clean, you will be delivered.”
job 22:30 CJB

How do we clean our hands? By repenting and being in the word of God, doing what he says!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

So if you feel distant from God, today is a good day to repent and return to Him!
Have a blessed day!
