Walk in His ways!

“If a man who walks in wind and falsehood tells this lie: I will preach to you of [how good it is to drink] wine and strong liquor-this people will accept him as their preacher!”
Micah 2:11 CJB

Just like in Micah’s day, the people will always put up preachers who will condone their sinful practices! Not just drunkenness and adultery, but also stealing and ripping off others! We are saved by God’s grace, but in no way does He want us to live without keeping His commandments and walking in His ways!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

God’s grace covers our sins, but in no way are we free to keep walking in them! We must walk in the ways of Adonai, found in His word!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

Today, let’s simply walk in His ways and not waste our time trying to look for loop holes so we can walk in ours!
Have a blessed day following Adonai!

God warns us!

“Listen, peoples, all of you! Pay attention, earth, and everything in it! Adonai Elohim will witness against you, Adonai, from His Holy Temple.”
Micah 1:2 CJB

One day soon Adonai is going to judge everything and everyone, no one will get away with anything! In God’s economy no one is above His law!

“Adonai tests the righteous; but He hates the wicked and the lover of violence.”
Psalm 11:5 CJB

Don’t look at testing as God being mean to us. He tests us so we can grow in Him! But the wicked He will judge!

“He will rain hot coals down on the wicked, fire, sulfur and scorching wind will be what they get to drink.”
Psalm 11:6 CJB

God warns us throughout His Word of coming judgment, so we are warned! He also tells us of His great blessings that He has for us, so let’s pay attention to Him today!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!

God saves!

“But this was very displeasing to Jonah, and he became angry.”
Jonah 4:1 CJB

What would Jonah be angry about after seeing 120,00 people get saved! Remember these people killed many of his brothers and sisters and he felt they should only burn in Hell!

“He prayed to Adonai, Now, Adonai, didn’t I say this would happen, when I was still in my own country? That’s why I tried to get away to Tarshish ahead of time! I knew you were a God who is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in grace, and that you relent from inflicting punishment.”
Jonah 4:2 CJB

Unfortunately, this could be our heart about people we hate, whether they are neighbors, co-workers or Hamas terrorists, we need to remember God still loves them and wants all to repent and come to Him!

“The LORD is not slow in keeping His promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, He is patient with you; for it is not His purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins.”
2 Peter 3:9 CJB

This is good news that God keeps His promises, every last one of them! No matter how evil or bad someone is from our prospective, God still loves them and desires them to repent and be saved! The question is are we sharing that Good News of Salvation or are we judging their evil? Let’s share and let God judge!
Have a blessed day sharing His Good News of Salvation!

God forgives

“They must be covered in sackcloth, both people and animals; and they are to cry out to God with all their might-let each of them turn from his evil way and from the violence they practice.”
Jonah 3:8 CJB

When Jonah finally gets to Ninevah and shares that if they repent, God will forgive! What happen’s they repent and God forgives!

“When God saw their deeds that they had turned from their evil way, he relented and did not bring them the punishment He had threatened.”
Jonah 3:10 CJB

What should this encourage us to do? One repent! Two share the Good News of Salvation!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Man, if God can forgive the Ninevites, some of the most brutal people in history, then He can forgive you and I! So with that said let’s go out and share the Good News of Salvation!
Have a blessed day sharing about Yeshua!
