Magnify Adonai

“God said to him, Because you have made this request instead of asking long life or riches for yourself, or your enemies’ death, but rather asked for yourself understanding to discern justice.”
1 Kings 3:11 CJB

What are our prayers like? Do we ask for riches and prestige or do we ask for things that will glorify God?

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

When we proclaim the greatness of Adonai and look for opportunities to glorify Him and proclaim His good news of salvation, He will always add to His covering and provision for us!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

So let’s focus on doing and serving Adonai and as we do we will see His provision and protection!
May your day be richly blessed!

Hear and do

“If you do, Adonai will fulfill what He promised me when He said, If your children pay attention to how they live, conducting themselves before Me honestly with all their heart and being, you will never lack a man on the throne of Israel.”
1 Kings 2:4 CJB

The idea here is that if the people would live as God instructs them to, He will bless them with a good man to lead them! If the people live and walk in sin then they will get the leader that reflects them!

“Then, if My people, who bear My name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 CJB

We bear the name of Adonai! He made us, redeemed us and saved us from our evil ways, so why do we get caught up in silly worldly ways, then walk in them?

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

Understand we can’t just hear what God says in His Word, but we need to do it also!
Have a blessed day doing the word of God!

God has a plan for you

“King David grew old, the years took their toll, and he couldn’t get warm even when they covered him with bedclothes.”
1 Kings 1:1 CJB

Here is a fact for us all to realize! We are all gonna get old and we are all gonna die! Question is what are we gonna do until then?

“But they had no children, because Elisheva was barren; and they were both well along in years.”
Luke 1:7 CJB

Understand, Elizabeth and Zecharia were both old and did not have any children which was looked down upon, but God used them in their older years to have John the Baptist! So, as we get older, understand we aren’t dead yet and God can still use us mightily!

“Now, look: Adonai has kept me alive these forty-five years, as He said He would, from the time Adonai said this to Moshe, when Israel was going through the desert. Today I am eighty-five years old, but I am as strong today as on the day Moshe sent me-I’m as strong as I was then, whether for war or simply going here and there.”
Joshua 14:10-11 CJB

No matter how old or young you are if you are here on earth, it is God who has you here! He has a plan and a purpose for you and will give you the strength to do it! So keep looking forward to what God has planned for you to do!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Shine

“Then David built an altar to Adonai there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. After this, Adonai took pity on the land and lifted the plague from Israel.”
2 Samuel 24:25 CJB

The best way to advert problems in life is to daily offer ourselves to Adonai!

“I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is the logical Temple worship for you.”
Romans 12:1 CJB

God desires us to make our lives shine for Him! It is not unreasonable, but it is totally reasonable to be living sacrifice for Him!

“I, Adonai, called you righteously, I took hold of you by the hand, I shaped you and made you a covenant for the people, to be a light for the Goyim.”
Isaiah 42:6 CJB

God always intended for His people to shine His light throughout the world!
So let’s shine for Him today!
Shabbat Shalom!
