Don’t be afraid!

“House of Y’hudah and house of Israel, just as you were formerly a curse among the nations, so now I will save you; and you will be a blessing. Don’t be afraid, but take courage!”
Zechariah 8:13 CJB

We obviously aren’t here yet! Anti-semitism, anti-christian and anti-God is becoming more and more popular today, than ever before! What are we to do? Take courage and place our hope in Adonai!

“Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

As believers we know what God is going to do! How? We have His word, which gives us comfort, direction and understanding! God tells us in His word to take courage and don’t be overcome with evil!

“They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you, says Adonai, to rescue you.”
Jeremiah 1:19 CJB

There will always be battles in life. But God has overcome them! We just need to be reminded of that from time to time! So don’t be afraid and take courage!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Repent

“Rather, when you eat and drink, it’s just to please yourselves, isn’t it?”
Zechariah 7:6 CJB

Here we see the people of Israel were fasting and praying, not out of repentance, but for selfishness and self-pity! We need to be honest about the things we do! Do we have a heart of repentance or self pity?

“From that time time on, Yeshua began proclaiming, Turn from your sins to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!”
Matthew 4:17 CJB

With all the things happening in the world around us we can get very distracted and self centered! What we need to do is make Yeshua and the Kingdom of Heaven our priority!

“For Adonai is good, His grace continues forever, and His faithfulness lasts through all generations.”
Psalm 100:5 CJB

Today, let’s keep focused on Adonai and not get distracted by the events happening around us!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Heed Adonai

“Those who are now far away will come and help rebuild the temple of Adonai. Then you will know that it is Adonai-Tzva’ot who sent me to you. And it will all come about, provided you heed carefully what Adonai your God says.”
Zechariah 6:15 CJB

All good things happen when we heed the word of God, we will always get help, even from far off places!

“The Torah (Instructions) of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.”
Psalm 19:7 CJB

We may be going through problems, decision-making or just waiting, with all theses things we need to be in His word, calling on His name and waiting for His answers.”

“I wait longingly for Adonai; I put my hope in His word.”
Psalm 130:5 CJB

So, as we are waiting on Adonai, let us be in His word, because it is His word that should guide our lives!
Have a blessed day!

Seek truth

“‘I will release it,’ says Adonai-Tzva’ot ‘and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who swears falsely by My name; it will stay there inside the house and consume it completely, even its timbers and stones.'”
Zechariah 5:4 CJB

This is a warning we all need to heed! Be careful of using the name of God or His word out of context or trying to manipulate it to fit your own needs and wants!

“You reject all who stray from your laws, for what they deceive themselves with is false.”
Psalm 119:118 CJB

There are many people out there misusing the word of God, for selfish gain or to maybe make themselves look more superior! We need to use the word of God to direct, to help us to lead others to salvation and to get closer to God!

“Do not let grace and truth leave you-bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.”
Proverbs 3:3 CJB

Today, spend time in the word of God to know what it says, so you can defend yourself from those who misuse it!
Have a blessed day digging into His word!
