Being refined!

“That third part I will bring through the fire; I will refine them as silver is refined, I will test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’ and they will say, ‘Adonai is my God.'”
Zechariah 13:9 CJB

Often times in life we feel we are in a great struggle, whether it’s health, finances or just feeling you have no purpose or direction! The good news is if you believe and trust in God, the only logical conclusion you can come up with is He is refining you for something bigger!

“Yet He knows the way I take; when He tested me, I will come out like gold.”
Job 23:10 CJB

Hear what Job is saying as someone who knows about testing and refining, when we come through the process we will be like gold! So we just need to hang in there and keep our eyes on Yesshua (Jesus)!

“For You, God have tested us, refined us as silver is refined.”
Psalm 66:10 CJB

We may not understand, but know that God allows us to be tested, it’s one of the ways He refines us ! So if you are going through a testy situation know that God will use it to refine you for His glorious purposes!
So have a blessed day knowing God has a perfect plan for you!

Pray

“I will make Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) a cup that will stagger the surrounding peoples. Even Y’hudah will be caught up in the siege against Yerushalayim.”
Zechariah 12:2 CJB

No matter where you look today, people have an opinion about Jerusalem, Israel and the Jewish people, unfortunately it’s mostly bad!

“I will bless those who bless you (Israel), but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Genesis 12:3 CJB

Since we know what God says that we are to bless Israel, then we should! How? The biggest thing is pray! That is something we all can do! Now we can give and go, but always pray first!

“Pray for shalom in Yerushalayim; may those who love you prosper.”
Psalm 122:6 CJB

God says we are to love and pray for His people, that’s all His people, so that includes us! So let’s be praying for shalom (peace). Start with Jerusalem and continue praying from there to the ends of the world!
Have a blessed day praying!

Follow the good Shepherd

“For I am going to raise up a shepherd in the land who won’t bother about the ones who have been destroyed, won’t seek out the young, won’t heal the broken and won’t feed those standing still; on the contrary, he will eat meat of the fat ones and break their hoofs in pieces.”
Zechariah 11:16 CJB

As in the previous verses we see the picture of the Good Shepherd (Yeshua) is removed and this false shepherd (anti-christ) steps in and creates havoc! The same is true today, if we remove Yeshua from our lives havoc moves in!

“Adonai is my shepherd; I lack nothing.”
Psalm 23:1 CJB

Is Adonai your shepherd or is some worldly entity? A shepherd guides and directs and if he is bad or self-centered, then he will lead you astray!

“Guide me in your truth, and teach me; for You are the God who saves me, my hope is in you all day long.”
Psalm 25:5 CJB

This verse should be our prayer every day! Guide me, teach me and may my hope be in You!
May your day be led by the Good Shepherd!

Be light

“But I will strengthen [Israel] in Adonai; they will travel here and there in His name, says Adonai.”
Zechariah 10:12 CJB

We are supposed to be messengers of Messiah, sharing the Good News of Salvation, spreading His glorious light! That is what we are called to do!

“He has said, It is not enough that you are merely my servant to raise up tribes of Ya`akov and restore the offspring of Israel. I will also make you a light to the nations (world), so My Salvation can spread to the ends of the earth.”
Isaiah 49:6 CJB

It’s always been God’s plan for us to go into all the world and reflect His glorious light!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

It’s not about our good things or good works, but it’s all about the good things our Father in Heaven does, so glorify Him!
Today, let’s glorify our Father in Heaven!

Reflect His light!

“Rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Tziyon! Shout out loud, daughter of Yerushalayim! Look! Your King is coming to you. He is righteous, and He is victorious. Yet He is humble-He’s riding on a donkey, yes, on a lowly donkey’ colt.”
Zechariah 9:9 CJB

We as believers know this has been fulfilled by Yeshua, who could have rode into Jerusalem on a mighty steed, but instead rode in on a donkey! Why? Because God shows humility and is humble! Both these traits actually show strength and courage! This is what Adonai requires of us!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

What God requires of us isn’t too complicated! He has shown us, we just need to follow Him and He leads by example!

“Adonai is good, and He is fair; this is why He teaches sinners the way [to live], leads the humble to do what is right and teaches and teaches the humble [to live] His way.”
Psalm 25:8-9 CJB

Today, let’s walk in the ways of Adonai, showing mercy, being just and living in His grace and reflecting His love to those around us!
Have a blessed day walking in His victorious ways!
