Messengers were always deployed to prepare the way for kings and conquerers! God has used prophets of old to warn and prepare the way for Messiah! We’ve been warned!

“A voice cries out: Clear a road through the desert for Adonai! Level a highway in the `Aravah (highway) for our God!”
Isaiah 40:3 CJB

This is speaking of Elijah and all four Gospels use this verse, speaking of John the Baptist! This should encourage us to share the Good News of Salvation in the deserts of the world, warning the people that the King (Yeshua) is coming!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s Cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB also found in Deuteronomy 7:6-8

How amazing that God Himself has chosen us and has set us apart for Himself, to declare His way of Salvation, through repentance and declaring Yeshua as LORD and Savior!

When we make a departure from following the Word of God, disaster is sure to follow! This is what happened in Malachi’s day and in fact every disaster that has come upon Israel and us can be attributed to not following the Word of God!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

When we are in the Word of God, studying it, keeping it and living by it, life will always be better!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover , His commands are not burdensome, because everything which has God as its Father overcomes the world. And this is what victoriously overcomes the world: our trust.”
1 John 5:3-4 CJB

We need to follow the Word of God in all aspects of our lives to have a life filled with blessings and less controversy and difficulty!

One day everyone, everywhere will see and say Adonai is great!

“In the name of Myself I have sworn, from my mouth has rightly gone out, a word will not return-that to Me every knee will bow and every tongue swear.”
Isaiah 45:23 CJB also found in Romans 14:11 and Philippians 2:10

This day is fast approaching, but for us we already know Adonai is great and greatly to be praised and we should be doing this every chance we get!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

What a great invitation to proclaim the greatness of Adonai, which we get to do everyday!

“People will live there, the curse will be broken, and Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) will live in safety.”

Yerushalayim is probably the most popular or one of well known places in the world! It’s been destroyed 2x’s, besieged 23x’s, attacked 52x’s and captured and recaptured 44x’s! But, yet it still stands and is still populated by the Jewish people and one day it will never be attacked again and it will be what it was always supposed to be the City of Peace! One day this will be a reality!

“A person whose desire rests on You, You preserve in perfect peace (Shalom) because he trusts in You.”
Isaiah 26:3 CJB

God promises us a day will come when all the world will be in perfect peace under His godly rule from His Holy City Yerushalayim (Jerusalem)! We just need to trust in Him!

“Trust in Adonai forever, because in Yah Adonai, is a Rock of Ages.”
Isaiah 26:4 CJB

Even when we are in distress or uneasy about what is going on in the world around us, the best thing we can do is trust in Adonai and put all our hope in His Perfect Peace!
