Love one another

“But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!”
Matthew 5:44 CJB

It is real easy to love people that we love and care for, it is harder to love someone who persecutes you or reviles you!

“Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 19:18 CJB

Adonai really does desire us to love our neighbors as ourselves! We all need to be careful of holding grudges, taking vengeance or talk trash about people! We need to love those around us, besides the world really needs love!

“Don’t plot harm against each other; and don’t love perjury; for all these are things I hate, says Adonai.”
Zechariah 8:17 CJB

So, no matter what may happen today, let us reflect the love of Adonai!
Have a blessed day reflecting the love of Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be fishers for men!

“Yeshua said to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men!”
Matthew 4:19 CJB

We are supposed to follow Messiah and do as He says! He wants us to be fishers for men, meaning He wants what we have in Him to be desirable to all those we come in contact with! Also, like the disciples, are we willing to drop all to follow Him?

“At once they left their nets and went with Him.”
Matthew 4:20 CJB

Instead of mending nets, so to speak, let’s be like the disciples and follow Messiah and help mend lives of lost people!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, instead of pointing out sin and worldly behavior, let’s proclaim the greatness of Adonai!
Have a blessed day glorifying Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Prepare the way!

“This is the man Yesha`yahu (Isaiah) was talking about when he said, The voice of someone crying out: In the desert prepare the way of Adonai! Make paths for Him!”
Matthew 3:3 CJB

We are living in a desert wilderness and are we crying and preparing hearts to receive Yeshua? Are we being like John the Baptist preparing the way!

“A voice cries out: Clear a road through the desert for Adonai! Level a highway in the Aravah (highway) for our God!”
Isaiah 40:3 CJB

Are we sharing the message of salvation? We are called to proclaim the Good News!

“But you are a chosen people, the Kings’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB also Deuteronomy 7:6-8

We always need to be reminded of this: God has chosen us out of the dark world to be His representatives for Him!

So have a blessed day sharing His Good News of Salvation!

God is our refuge

“After they had gone, an angel of Adonai appeared to Yosef in a dream and said, Get up, take the child and his mother, and escape to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you to leave. For Herod is going to look for the child in order to kill Him.”
Matthew 2:13 CJB

Just like Joseph, Mary and Yeshua, God always has a plan to get us to safety! Look what God, did for Daniel!

“My God sent His angel to shut the lion’s mouths, so they haven’t hurt me. This is because before Him I was found innocent; and also I have done no harm to you, your majesty.”
Daniel 6:23 CJB

God will always get us through the storms, we just have to have faith!

“For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the foe.”
Psalm 61:3 CJB

So glad as a believer that I have God as my refuge in times of trouble, in fact He is my refuge all the time!
Have a blessed day trusting Adonai!

Trust

“All this happened in order to fulfill what Adonai had said through the prophet, The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will cal Him `Immanu El. (The name means, God is with us.)”
Matthew 1:22-23 CJB

One of the things we should see here is that Mary and Joseph were going through a major situation, a virgin bride to be is pregnant! They could have done all kinds of things to remedy the situation, but instead did not allow the situation to dictate their future, instead they trusted God! The same goes for us. We may be in a situation that God has allowed, don’t look for the easy way out, but trust in God instead!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

God’s ways are always so different from ours, we always get caught up on what we can see or feel! God wants us to trust!

“For we live by trust, not what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Don’t get caught up in what we see, but instead get caught up in trusting Adonai!
Have a blessed day in trusting in Him!
