Be humble

“Even if I must die with you, Kefa replied, I will never disown you! And all the talmidim (disciples) said the same thing.”
Matthew 26:35 CJB

We all need to be careful of making statements that we can’t keep or back up! Remember, Peter denies even knowing Yeshua in the next few verses! We all can be bold, until it hits the fan!

“The proud will be humbled, but the humble will be honored.”
Proverbs 29:23 CJB

Often times we may think we are more than what we really are! We are all sinners who are in desperate need of a Savior, so be humble!

“Therefore, let anyone who thinks he is standing up be careful not to fall!”
1 Corinthians 10:12 CJB

Understand to really stand up in life we really need to be leaning on Yeshua for strength!
Have a blessed day leaning on Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Do good!

“The King will say to them, ‘Yes! I tell you that whenever you did these things for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did them for Me!”
Matthew 25:40 CJB

What Yeshua is getting at here, is do we help the less fortunate person or do we put them down!

“I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Genesis 12:3 CJB

No matter how we are treated by others, we should always strive to treat others better or as we feel we need to be treated ourselves!

“Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.”
Romans 12:21 CJB

We all need to strive to do good! When we are thinking we are doing good, we all need to strive to be better at it! Good question to ask yourself! What can I do to be better?
Have a blessed day looking for opportunities to do good!
Shabbat Shalom!

Watch and pray!

“Yeshua replied: Watch out! Don’t let anyone fool you!”
Matthew 24:4 CJB

Yes we need to be watching and vetting all things we hear!

“For many will come in My name, saying, I am the Messiah! and they will lead many astray.”
Matthew 24:5 CJB

So true. There are many people out there in the name of Yeshua, leading many people astray with false teaching! Be careful, watch and pray!

“You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don’t become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come.”
Matthew 24:6 CJB

We have seen wars, storms and disasters. We just need to be careful of letting these things consume and distract us! Instead let the love of Adonai consume us, knowing this world will end, But Adonai never will end!
Have a blessed day loving and watching for Adonai!

Be Holy

“Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look fine on the outside but inside are full of dead people’s bones and all kinds of rottenness.”
Matthew 23:27 CJB

Understand the point here isn’t just against Pharisees and scribes, who should know better, but any leader, Bible teacher or person of influence! We see this all around us, Bible teachers telling us to live righteously, as they live in sin! World leaders saying how we should be grateful for poverty or just getting by while they live in multiple mansions! This is the hypocrisy Yeshua is speaking of! We need to live for Adonai!

“Likewise, you appear to people from the outside to be good and honest, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and far from Torah.”
Matthew 23:28 CJB

Yeshua is giving strong rebuke here! Why? Because nothing changes, people with power and influence always tell people how to live, but don’t practice what they preach!

“Speak to the entire community of Israel; tell them, ‘You people are to be holy (set apart, special) because I, Adonai your God, am holy.”
Leviticus 19:2 CJB

Today, let’s be very careful about practicing what we preach! It is real easy to point-out the sins of others, before we look in the mirror! Yes, there is a lot of hypocrisy around us that we should be aware of! We just need to be careful and be HOLY (special, not ordinary) just as God tells us to be!
Have a blessed day following Adonai!

Repent

“‘Friend how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless.”
Matthew 22:12 CJB

Being caught in a place that you are not supposed to be in is embarrassing! Being caught by Adonai should be devastating! What do we do? REPENT!

“He sounds a warning in their ears and orders them to repent of their evil.”
Job 36:10 CJB

God is always graciously warning us of repentance, as we sadly try to crash His wedding without an invite, which is so easy to get! How? Repent, Confess and Turn around from sin and you are in!

“When I acknowledge my sin to you, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adionai”; then You, You forgave the guilt of my sin,”
Psalm 35:5 CJB

Often times we can feel out of place and out of touch with God, the key is to repent and get right with Adonai!
Have a blessed day!
