Listen to God

“But He said, Far more blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
Luke 11:28 CJB

You want to be blessed! Then hear the Word of God and then do what it says!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

When we love someone, we will listen to them and try to make them happy by doing what they say! So if you love Adonai, then strive hard to listen to Him, He speaks to us through His Word, we just have to get into it!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

Again we see obeying God is always going to be a blessing! It’s also easier to do what He says, instead of trying to find ways around Him!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it.”
James 1:22 CJB

So let’s take in the Word of God and obey it!
Have a blessed day being doers for Adonai!

“Whoever listens to you listens to Me, also whoever rejects you rejects me, and whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
Luke 10:16 CJB

Yeshua sends us all out to share the Good News of Salvation and when we do and people reject it, realize they are only rejecting God! Understand, when we are persecuted and rejected it is not us who are being rejected, it is God!

“And indeed, all who want to live a godly life united with Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves.”
2 Timothy 3:12-13 CJB

The point we need to see here is that when we share the Good News of Salvation, some will accept and some will reject, we need to just keep sharing, knowing the times we live in! Just keep living for God!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

Today, let’s rejoice in the fact that we are saved and keep sharing with anyone who will listen!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Don’t look back!

“To him Yeshua said, No one who puts his hand to the plow and keeps looking back is fit to serve in the Kingdom of God.”
Luke 9:62 CJB

In other words, don’t make excuses on why you can’t serve Adonai or you’ll do it later when you take care of some aspect of your life! Understand, looking back will never help to accomplish serving Adonai! We need to look forward to Adonai!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

God has an appointed day for everything, and we don’t want to miss it by making excuses or delaying how we should serve!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

So don’t delay in serving Adonai, look for every opportunity to serve!
May your day be richly blessed in serving Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Shine

“No one who has lit a lamp covers it with a bowl or puts it under a bed; no, he puts it on a stand; so that those coming in may see the light.”
Luke 8:16 CJB

In other words, we need to hear the word of God and do it! If we are real believers, we can’t cover up what we believe! We need to shine!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

As believers we can’t just be hearers, we need to be doers, putting into practice what God’s Word instructs us to do!

“For it is not mercy the hearers of Torah (instruction) whom God considers righteous; rather, it is the doers of what Torah says who will be made righteous in God’s sight.”
Romans 2:13 CJB

Realize God didn’t waste His time giving us His Word so we can pick and choose the parts we like and ignore the parts we don’t like! We need to be careful and obey all His instructions, but know He will always be gracious when we fail!
Have a blessed day being doers of the Word of God and shine for Him!
