Seek Adonai

“For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will set up a barricade around you, encircle you, hem you in on every side.”
Luke 19:43 CJB

Just like Jerusalem was surrounded by her enemies in A.D. 70 and as Israel is surround by her enemies today! We as believers can feel the same way as our enemies surround us! Understand in both cases the enemies of Israel and us are also the enemies of God and He has it all covered! So don’t worry!

“Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

Like Joshua, we need to be strong, bold and courageous as we go out into the world! Remember, God is always with us wherever we go especially when we are surrounded! So what do we do? Seek Adonai!

“When you seek Me and pray to Me, I will listen to you.”
Jeremiah 29:12 CJB

What comforting words that when we seek God and pray to Him, He doesn’t only hear us, He answers us!
Have a blessed day looking to Adonai, not the enemies that surround us!

Serve

“The Parush (Pharisee) stood and prayed to himself, O God! I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity-greedy, dishonest, immoral, or like this tax-collector!”
Luke 18:11 CJB

When we compare ourselves to someone else, thinking we are somehow better, we become like this Pharisee, we just end up praying to ourselves!

“Adonai detests all those with proud hearts; be assured that they will not go unpunished.”
Proverbs 16:5 CJB

We really need to be careful of comparing ourselves to others, God wants us to be focused on Him and not pointing out the sins of other people, remember we have enough of our own to deal with!

“Serve Adonai with fear; rejoice, but with trembling.”
Psalm 2:11 CJB

We need to be all about serving God and walking in His ways the best we can! We should fear walking through life without Him!
Have a blessed day seeking and walking with God!

Are you ready?

“Likewise, as it was in the time of Lot-people ate and drank, bought and sold, planted and built; but the day Lot left S’dom (Sodom), fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.”
Luke 17:28-29 CJB

Here we see that Yeshua is being asked when He will return, so too people ask the same question today! When are you coming back? The answer is still the same: when you least expect it! But we can see and know the seasons that it could be anytime!

“Level the path for your feet, let all your ways be properly prepared; then deviate neither right nor left; and keep your foot far from evil.”
Proverbs 4:26-27 CJB

We always need to be on guard for the coming of Adonai! No one know when He is coming, but we all know ten out of ten people will die! And the question is and always has been, ARE YOU READY!

“Therefore you too must always be ready, for the Son of Man will come when you are not expecting Him.”
Matthew 24:44 CJB

We see all around us signs that point to the coming of Adonai! The question is are we ready, because it could happen at any moment, whether we go up all together or at our individual appointed time, but we all have an appointed time! So let’s be ready to see Adonai!
Have a blessed day getting ready!

Look for opportunities

“However, he said, No, father Aravham, they need more. If someone from the dead goes to them, they’ll repent!”
Luke 16:30 CJB

Here we see Yeshua making a prophetic prediction as He would die and rise again and today, we see millions of people still totally reject God and His Salvation!

“But He replied, If they won’t listen to Moshe and the Prophets, they won’t be convinced even if someone rises from the dead!”
Luke 16:31 CJB

We have the entire word of God to guide us and direct us to His saving grace of Salvation! The sad thing is that so many people reject who God is and will perish just like this rich man here! We need to be out there sharing His Good News of Salvation!

“For I will proclaim the name of Adonai. Come, declare the greatness of our God!”
Deuteronomy 32:3 CJB

This is what we all get to do: proclaim the name of Adonai and how great He is! So look for opportunities to proclaim His name!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
