Seek the desires of Adonai

“Yes, indeed! I tell you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is an emissary greater than the one who sent him.”
John 13:16 CJB

A Jewish way of thinking here is a student isn’t above his teacher, but instead will become like his teacher!

“Dear friends, we are God’s children now; and it has not yet been made clear what we will become. We do know that when He appears, we will be like Him; because we will see Him as He really is.”
1 John 3:2 CJB

The idea here is the more time we spend with Yeshua and in His word the more we will become like Him! Doing things His ways and with His heart!

“Then you will delight yourself in Adonai, and He will give you your heart’s desire. Commit your way to Adonai, trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:4-5 CJB

When we delight ourselves in Adonai, we start to realize our desires are really His perfect desires and plans for our lives!
Have a blessed day walking in His ways!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be kind

“You always have the poor among you, but you will not always have Me.”
John 12:8 CJB

What Yeshua is saying here is that we will always have less fortunate people among us! There will always be the poor to help and minister to! Whether they are financially poor, spiritually poor or poor in health, we will always have opportunity to minister!

“For there will always be poor people in the land. That is why I am giving you this order, ‘You must open your hand to your poor and needy brother in your land.'”
Deuteronomy 15:11 CJB

We do have a lot of needy people as the times around us get darker, there will be even more! When we give freely to the poor, it always gives us opportunity to share the Good News of Salvation!

“He who is kind to the poor is lending to Adonai; and He will repay him for his good deed.”
Proverbs 19:17 CJB

Realize God has given us all so much so we all can be a little more giving, not to see what we can get, but so we can be freed up from selfishness and to glorify God!
Remember we can never out give God!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Trust in Adonai

“Yeshua said to her, Didn’t I tell you that if you keep trusting, you will see the glory of God?”
John 11:40 CJB

The more we trust God and in His word, the more glorious things we will see and be!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

When we trust in Adonai, and commit our ways to Him, we will be blown away by how He works in our lives! Why? When we simply just trust God and commit our lives to Him, it seems all obstacles are removed and He reveals His perfect will for us!

“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him; then He will level your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 CJB

Today, don’t just believe in God, but let’s trust in Him and His ways!
Have a blessed day trusting in Him!

Trust in Adonai

“And many people there put their trust in Him.”
John 10:42 CJB

Good question, what do we put our trust in? Is it politics, money or self? Or is it Adonai?

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we praise the name of Adonai our God.”
Psalm 20:7 CJB

This is a question we should ask on a daily basis, what and who do we trust?

My help comes from Adonai, the maker of Heaven and Earth.”
Psalm 121:2 CJB

Yes, all our help comes from Adonai, anything that is good comes from Him! So with that said why would we look anywhere else! We belong to the Maker of Heaven and Earth so put all your hope and trust in Adonai!

Victory in Yeshua

“Yeshua answered, His blindness is due neither to his sin nor to that of his parents; it happened so that God’s power might be seen at work in him.”
John 9:3 CJB

Often times God will use tragedy to glorify His sovereignty! We can and do go through situations that we don’t understand, but God can and does use them to do something miraculous so He can be glorified and we can have a testimony about His grace and power!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

We can be going through tough situations, but with God he can use our miseries and turn them into victories!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

So if you are going through some tough times, realize God may be allowing temporary blindness so He can do something miraculous and marvelous in your life!
Have a blessed day in you Yeshua!
