Shine

“They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.”

Who doesn’t belong to the world? We who are believers in Yeshua, we belong to Him!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a Holy Nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

That’s right we don’t belong to the world, but to Adonai, so let’s reflect His glorious light!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, be joyful that Adonai has saved us from the world and we belong to Him! So let’s reflect His glorious light!

Shalom

“I have said these things to you so that, united with Me, you may have shalom. In the world, you have tsuris (tribulation). But be brave! I have conquered the world!”
John 16:33 CJB

When we are united with Yeshua, we will always have shalom (peace), when we are united with the world we will have tribulation! The best thing we can do is drop all the worldly stuff and be united with Adonai!

“Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.”
Psalm 46:10 CJB

The idea here is to just drop it and not drag it around with you! Our problem is we continue to want to hold on to worldly stuff that makes us angry and upset! In this world we will have tribulation, that doesn’t mean we have to let it drag us down!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom–I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

The world around us is out of control and full of tribulation, but when we are united with Yeshua we get through it with His Shalom (peace)!

Love others

“This is what I command you: keep loving each other!”
John 15:17 CJB

Loving people can be hard! Do we love those with opposite political views? Do we love people with different social views? Or the hardest one, do we love people with different Biblical views? It’s easy to love people who are the same as us, it’s harder to love the ones who aren’t just like us! If you are loving Yeshua and walking in His ways and loving others, understand you are not going to be embraced by the world!

“If you belong to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world-on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world-therefore the world hates you.”
John 15:19 CJB

If you are the most popular, the most loved and most liked person in the world, then be careful! The scriptures are pretty clear if you love Yeshua you will be persecuted! Just ask Yeshua!

“And indeed, all who want to live a godly life united with the Messiah Yeshua, you will be persecuted.”
2 Timothy 3:12 CJB

Today, let’s be those who simply love people enough to tell them about Yeshua and His Salvation, not worrying about persecution, rejection or being loved!
May your day be richly blessed just simply loving people!

He’s preparing a place for you!

“Since I am going and preparing a place for you, I will return to take you with Me; so that where I am, you may be also.”
John 14:3 CJB

What good news to hear that the Creator of the Universe is going and preparing a place for us so we can spend all eternity with Him!
How do we get there?

“Yeshua said, I AM the Way-and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6 CJB

It is so easy to become a believer in Yeshua and have this perfect place prepared for you! Just simply repent and confess Yeshua as LORD and Savior!

“And then, whoever calls on the name of Adonai will be saved.”
Acts 2:21 CJB

So, as believers let us rejoice in the fact that our place in Heaven is not only prepared, but reserved for our soon arrival! Also let’s get out there and share with those around us how simple it is to receive His Salvation!
