This is how the world treats believers from time to time, they beat us up as the rest of the unbelieving world looks on and could care less!

“And indeed, all who want to live a godly life united with Messiah Yeshua will be persecuted.”
2 Timothy 3:12 CJB

Living godly will always lead to persecution and rejection! The more we look around us the more evil we will see! With that said we shouldn’t be surprised, but the more we should rejoice and just share the Good News of Salvation!

“Then I will be joyful in Adonai, I will rejoice in His Salvation.”
Psalm 35:9 CJB

The things around can and do look bad, but being with Adonai is glorious, so let’s praise Him no matter what!

Be in His Word!

“In the past, God overlooked such ignorance; but now He is commanding all people everywhere to turn to Him from their sins.”
Acts 17:30 CJB

God at one time overlooked ignorance, but now that we have His Word that is full of His instructions we have no excuse to be blind or ignorant about his will!

“I treasure Your Word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

The more we pour scripture into our lives the more we won’t be ignorant of His commands and directions!

“Guide my footsteps by Your word; don’t let any kind of sin rule me.”
Psalm 119:130 CJB

God is light and He will always illuminate our path, as we walk closer towards Him!

Follow God!

“When they came to the frontier of Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia; but the Spirit of Yeshua would not let them.”
Acts 16:7 CJB

We need to be led by the Spirit on when to go, where to go and what to do! When we do our own thing we end up with disasters! We end up with Ismael’s!

“Fools suppose their way is straight, but the wise pay attention to advice.”
Proverbs 12:15 CJB

As believers we need to be logical! What is logical? Doing life the way God desires us to do it, following His Word and walking in His ways!

“In turn Adonai is agreeing today that you are His own unique treasure, as He promised you; that you are to observe all His mitzvot (commands).”
Deuteronomy 26:18 CJB

How amazing that God has called us His own special people! He saved us from total destruction! So with that let’s look to Him for direction, protection and yes even correction, by following His Words and Commands!

Be light

“After this, I will return; and I will rebuild the fallen tent of David. I will rebuild its ruins, I will restore it, so that the rest of mankind may seek the lord, that is, all the Goyim (Gentiles) who have been called by My name, says Adonai, who is doing these things. All this has been known for ages.”
Acts 15:16-18 CJB originally Amos 9:11-12

God always intended for all people to come to Him and be saved! He chose the Jewish people to be the light and lead the way! We can say they blew it, but that is a foolish way of thinking! Why? Yeshua came through the Jewish people, the Apostles were Jewish and the scriptures we read are yes, Jewish! We just need to do our part!

“I, Adonai, called you righteously, I took hold of you by the hand, I shaped you and made you a covenant for the people, to be a light for the Goyim, so that you can open blind eyes, free the prisoners from confinement, those living in darkness from the dungeon.”
Isaiah 42:6-7 CJB

What we see happening here is that the Apostles are acknowledging what they need to do, share the Good News of Salvation! See people get saved and then invite them to study the Word of God and eventually His word will sink in to their hearts, so they can walk in His ways!

“For from the earliest times, Moshe has had in every city those who proclaim Him, with His Words being read in the Synagogues every Shabbat.”
Acts 15:21 CJB

Understand, what we need to do is lead people to Salvation through Yeshua and allow His Word to direct and correct their lives!
