Walk with the LORD instead of the world!

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

We all have issues in life; health, wealth and direction (what to do and how to do it). The first and best thing is come to Jesus and realize He has the answers!

“If you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

Often times we will look for help in all kinds of places instead of just calling on the LORD! When we do call upon Him and get some help, we often walk away until the next crisis! That’s not how it works, walking with the LORD is a way of life, walking with Him through good times and bad!

“Take My yoke upon you and LEARN from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30

Realize today everything we need is found in the word of God, and Jesus is our guide! Take His yoke (teaching) and learn from Him! He desires to guide and direct us through every situation the good and the bad either one with the LORD you will have peace! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom, talk about the LORD!

“And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Matthew 10:7

And as you go, wherever you go and to whoever you speak tell people about the LORD! As we go to work, school or just traveling lets be talking about the LORD, and His kingdom! Remember this is not our home!

“How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

With all the insane depressing stuff going on around us, talking to people about the LORD and His kingdom is really the only thing worth talking about and will bring a smile to your face!

“Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Psalm 96:2

We are always filled with joy when we share about the LORD! And if people reject you, just move on and keep sharing with the next person! Have a blessed day preaching the good news of salvation!

Talk about the LORD, not politics and scandals!

“For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge, And people should seek law from his mouth; For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 2:7

What a great picture here; we should be seeking the LORD, hearing about the LORD and sharing the LORD!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

We need to be studying the His word and taking in as much as we can! So as we go through our day proclaiming how amazing the LORD is! Don’t be caught up in the news of the day; talking about politics and scandals. Instead let us be talking about the LORD!

“Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” Psalm 96:2

Today let’s do and say what the LORD called us to do, go into all the world and share the good news of His salvation! Have a blessed day being messengers for the LORD!

Always on His mind!

“You offer defiled food on My altar, But say, In what way have we defiled You? By saying, The table of the LORD is contemptible.” Malachi 1:7

Here in Malachi the Jewish people have been back from exile and in the land for about a hundred years! Safe, secure and prosperous! They’ve become self- sufficient and the LORD isn’t a priority to them! Do we do the same to the LORD today, with more concern for the world than the LORD?

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

Is this you and me today? Usually what happens in life as things get better or we become more self- sufficient, we start to think we need the LORD less and less. We start to give to God our seconds or not at all!

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself.” Isaiah 44:24

Realize the LORD doesn’t need us we need Him, and never forget how much He loves us! You and I are always on His mind! Today if you seem to be relying more on your self, the world systems and calling on the LORD last or at all! Stop! Let us go to the LORD first in all things, let us give to the LORD first before anything and make the LORD our everything! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD!

Don’t take matters into your own hands, but wait on the LORD!

“And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth; if Jacob takes a wife of the daughters of Heth, like these who are the daughters of the land, what good will my life be to me?” Genesis 27:46

Life can and does stress us out, sometimes by our own doing and some by things out of our control! Either way we at times can feel completely overwhelmed and life is out of control, that we can take things into our own hands and make it worse.

“In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.” Psalm 86:7

The situation we see here is of Rebekah’s own doing, but the way out is the LORD! We need to see this today, we need to call on the LORD and wait! Don’t panic or be weary and taking things into our own hands, but wait!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13

Today realize the LORD has a future for us filled with His hope! What we need to be doing is seeking Him and waiting upon Him to do! Don’t be impatient and take things into your own hands, but wait on the LORD, He has a plan! Have a blessed day waiting on Him!
