Worship God

“I fell at his feet to worship him; but he said, Don’t do that! I’m only a fellow-servant with you and your brothers who have the testimony of Yeshua. Worship God! For the testimony of Yeshua is the Spirit of prophecy.”
Revelation 19:10 CJB

We are to worship God and only God, not a man, institution or an object, but God only!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB verse 4 in other translations.

Is God our everything? Or do we have something else we give priority to? This Angel (fellow servant) is telling John and also you and I not to serve or worship anything but God!

“Praise Adonai, all you nations! Worship Him, all you peoples!”
Psalm 117:1 CJB

Our day can be filled with all kinds of issues, in everything we need to give God all the glory and worship Him in everything!
Have a blessed day seeking God!

Pray and get out of the way!

“And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, saying, Oh no! The great city! The abundance of her wealth made all the ship owners rich! In a single hour she is ruined!”
Revelation 18:19 CJB

Two things here! First: look at the sadness about losing earthly riches! Throwing dust on your heads is an ancient expression of grief! More grief about worldliness than godliness!

“In their hands are evil schemes; their right hands are full of bribes.”
Psalm 26:10 CJB

Second: when man comes against God as the merchants did! God can and will take it all away in seconds! The warning is be careful of what you worship and don’t put the world above God!

“Do not love the world or the things of the world. If someone loves the world, then love for the Father is not in him; because all the things of the world-the desires of the old nature, the desires the eyes, and pretensions of life-are not from the Father but from the world.”
1 John 2:15-16 CJB

God does a lot of warning about being caught up in the world!

“And the world is passing away, along with its desires, But whoever does God’s will remains forever.”
1 John 2:17 CJB

The world provides all the desires we think we desire! Desires of old nature, desires of the eyes and desires aspirations of life!
What we need is to desire the things of Adonai which will sustain us and save us! We need to pray and get out of God’s way then watch what he will do!
May your day be richly blessed in him!

God will deal with it!

“They will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are called, chosen and faithful will overcome along with Him.”
Revelation 17:14 CJB

The one and only goal of Satan is to destroy Yeshua and His people, but because Yeshua is God this will be completely unsuccessful! Sadly the Adversary will keep trying until God complete puts him down, which He will do!

“So don’t say, ‘We found wise course-let God defeat him, not a human being.'”
Job 32:13 CJB

Just like the future battle that will happen when God completely defeats the Adversary once and for all! Understand He will defeat the adversaries that we face here and now, often times we just need to get out of the way!

“On the day of my trouble I’m calling on You, for You will answer me.”
Psalm 86:7 CJB

We all have trying times and troubles! Often what we need to do is simply call on God, get out of His way and watch Him work.
May your day be richly blessed seeking Him and watching Him work!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be alert

“Look! I am coming like a thief! How blessed are those who stay alert and keep their clothes clean, so that they won’t be walking naked and be publicly put to shame!”
Revelation 16:15 CJB

God wants us to be awake, alert and walking uprightly with Him!

“The righteous will surely give thanks to Your name; the upright will live in Your presence.”
Psalm 140:13 CJB

What do we get when we walk uprightly with God? We get to walk in His presence for all eternity and that should be our ultimate goal!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

What Adonai requires from us isn’t too complicated! To love justice, love grace, walk humbly and be alert watching for Him to take us home!
May your day be richly blessed seeking Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!
