Stand firm

“These are David’s chief warriors, who under his rulership, joined forces with him and with all Israel to make him king, as Adonai had said concerning Israel.”
1 Chronicles 11:10 CJB

We always should get behind the men and women who God puts in place to rule and lead, not because they are great, but because God is great!

“See, the sky, the heaven beyond the sky, the earth and everything on it all belong to Adonai your God.”
Deuteronomy 10:14 CJB

What a great comfort to know that everything we can see belongs to Adonai who created everything! So we can stand firm on Adonai and not worry about the messes happening around us! So we should have no fear at getting behind the men and women God has placed in the world to lead! Why? Because we should be following Adonai in all things!

“Stay alert, stand firm in faith, behave like a mentsh (like a man standing firm, courageous and afraid of nothing), grow strong. Let everything you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 CJB

So stand up and be courageous for Adonai, knowing He has it all in the palm of His hands!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Follow Adonai

“Thus Sha’ul, his three sons and all his household died together.”
1 Chronicles 10:6 CJB

Understand the reason that we see the results of disobedience shown over and over in scripture so that we can make a choice of not doing the same! But instead follow Adonai and His perfect ways!

“Your instruction is a wonder; this is why I follow it.”
Psalm 119:129 CJB

If we want life to go smoothly, then simply just follow the Word of Adonai!

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by His ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

The fear of Adonai isn’t fearing Him, it’s a fear of living without Him!
So have a blessed day walking with Adonai!

Our redeemer lives

“So all Israel was listed by genealogies, and there were recorded in the book of the kings of Israel. Then Y’hudah was carried away captive to Bavel because of unfaithfulness.”
1 Chronicles 9:1 CJB

Israel and Judah were taken into captivity because of disobedience and unfaithfulness! Captivity will always happen when we disobey, doubt and defy God! Sin will always have consequences!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

We all need to be careful of disobedience and focus on God and His redemption! He really is our redeemer, our perfect Passover lamb! So look to Adonai for salvation!

“The next day, Yochanan saw Yeshua coming toward him and said, Look! God’s Lamb! The one who is taking away the sin of the world!”
John 1:29 CJB

So let’s obey God in everything! Why? Because He is our perfect redeemer!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Pray for peace

“These were leaders of fathers’ houses through all their generations, leading men who lived in Yerushalayim.”
1 Chronicles 8:28 CJB

What is Yerushalayim (Jerusalem)? It’s mentioned over 800 times in scripture, it’s the center of three major religions and a controversial place throughout history! Simply put it is God’s holy city, now and forever, also it is the capital for the nation of Israel! Also it’s the only city God says to pray for!

“Pray for shalom in Yerushalayim; may those who love You prosper.”
Psalm 122:6 CJB

Praying for shalom or peace is what we are called to do and we are called to pray for Yerushalayim, God’s city! Why? It is the city that makes the world stagger, but it will be the city we will all journey to one day!

“I will make Yerushalayim a cup that will stagger the surrounding peoples. Even Y’hudah will be caught up in siege against Yerushalayim.”
Zechariah 12:2 CJB

As we see the world around us getting angrier and more anti-semetic than ever, should lead us to pray and pray more!
Have a blessed day in praying for peace!

God is our Rock

“Then he had sexual relations with his wife, and she conceived and bore a son whom he called B’ri`ah [in calamity], because his household had suffered a calamity.”
1 Chronicles 7:23 CJB

One of the big things we see here is that calamity will hit us all at one time or the other! What we need to see is that life must move on because God has a ultimate plan!

“For my house stands firm with God-he made an everlasting covenant with me. It is in order, fully assured, that he will bring to full growth all my salvation and every desire.”
2 Samuel 23:5 CJB

We all have issues in life, some good and some bad! The question is: do we stand firm in the issue or stand firm in God, who is the Rock that can never be moved?

“My mind and body may fail; but God is the Rock for my mind and portion forever.”
Psalm 73:26 CJB

Life does have many ups and downs. Sadly, we can have more downs than ups! Understand there is nothing this world can throw at us that Adonai can’t handle, so let’s stand on Him, who is our Rock!
Have a blessed day!
