We all need to understand that evil is present everywhere, it shouldn’t surprise us! What we all need to be reminded of is that God is present and ready to deal with evil in every situation!

“Justice will once again become righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.”
Psalm 94:15 CJB

What we need to be doing is acting and living uprightly in Adonai, even when evil seems to be overwhelming us! Know that Adonai will always be there, He will never leave us or forsake us!

“No one will be able to withstand you as long as you live. Just as I was with Moshe, so I will be with you. I will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Joshua 1:5 CJB

God is always by our side going before us and dealing with the evil in the world, even if we don’t see it! So don’t be overwhelmed with the evil we see around us today!

This is an intense cry for help! The psalmist may not be physically falling apart, but the pressure of life can be overwhelming! This may be how we feel about life, whether it’s physical, emotional or psychological we can feel like life is withering away! What do we do? Call and trust Adonai!

“Adonai my God, I cried out to you, and you provided healing for me.”
Psalm 30:2 CJB

Every time we call out to God, He heals us whether here on earth or bringing us home with Him! The bottom line is we are healed!

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Psalm 147:3 CJB

This is what God does! He heals us spiritually and physically in every situation! We just need to call on Him and trust Him!

God is not impressed with wickedness or evil! He is really into justice and righteousness! So let’s walk in His ways!

God is not impressed with the powerful, the famous or political, but those who live biblical walking in His ways!

When we read these Psalms we should realize how secure we are in Adonai!

“I will always set Adonai before me; with Him at my right hand, I can never be moved.”

No matter what is going on in life or the world, we can always rest securely because Adonai has us covered and protected!

“So my heart is glad, my glory rejoices, and my body too rests in safety; for You will not abandon me to Sh’ol, you will not let your faithful one see the Abyss.”
Psalm 16:9-10 CJB

So let’s not be afraid of anything and simply rest in the shalom of Adonai!
