Guide your children

“After Adam lived 130 years he fathered a son like himself and named him Shet.”
Genesis 5:3 CJB

As we are made in the image of God, we should understand when we have children they do take on our attributes also, good and bad! So let’s be wise!

“Fathers, don’t irritate your children and make them resentful; instead, raise them with the LORD’S kind of discipline and guidance.”
Ephesians 6:4 CJB

Raising kids is one of the most important things we can do! Helping kids grow should never stop, no matter how old they get! Always share about Adonai!

“Train a child in the way he [should] go; and, even when old, he will not swerve from it.”
Proverbs 22:6 CJB

What’s the best thing we can do? Share the Word of God with our kids, young and old! As they get older never stop reminding them about Adonai!
Have a blessed day sharing God’s word!

Walk boldly with God

“If you are doing what is good, shouldn’t you hold your head high? And if you don’t do what is good, sin is crouching at the door-it wants you, but you can rule over it.”
Genesis 4:7 CJB

If we are doing what is good and right we will always be able to walk without worrying if we did something wrong! It’s when we do questionable things is when we have to hide!

“How happy are those who act justly, who always do what is right!”
Psalm 106:3 CJB

You want to be happy? Then do what is right, not what we think, but do what God says!

“Here is what Adonai says: Observe justice, do what is right, for my salvation is close to coming, my righteousness to being revealed.”
Isaiah 56:1 CJB

We need to be people who are serving and obeying Adonai! Why? He is coming soon and walking in His ways is always going to be best!

“Guide my footsteps by Your word; don’t let any kind of sin rule me.”
Psalm 119:133 CJB

So what’s the key to walking in righteousness? Being in the Word of God and doing it!
Have a blessed day walking in the ways of God!

You can’t hide!

“He answered, I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid myself.”
Genesis 3:10 CJB

The reason we would hide ourselves is because we are ashamed and think we can hide from God! We should have a fear of God, but we should never be afraid of Him! What we should fear is walking through life without Him!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB verse 4 in other translations.

The best thing we can do in life is cling to Adonai, knowing He has a firm grip on us! One of the things that happens when we cling to Adonai, it makes it easier to confess!

“When I acknowledge my sin to You, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then You, You forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

Today, let’s cling to God not hide from Him, knowing He is faithful and just to forgive!
May your day be blessed!

God is our River of life

“A river went out of `Eden to water the garden, and from there it divided into four streams.”
Genesis 2:10 CJB

It is interesting to me that in the garden of Eden there is a river that supplies all mans needs and in Heaven there will also be a river supplying all our needs!

“Next the angel showed me the river of water of life, sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
Revelation 22:1 CJB

I see so many parallels between Eden and Heaven! But we will look at just this River of Life spoken of here! This is what we need to be doing in all things, planting ourselves by God’s River of life continuously!

“Their delight is in Adonai’s Torah (instruction); on His Torah they meditate day and night. They are like a tree planted by streams-they bear fruit in season, their leaves never wither, everything they do succeeds.”
Psalm 1:2-3 CJB

If you want blessings and success, then plant yourself by God’s living water, be in His Word!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
