“You are My witnesses, Says the LORD, And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there as no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. Isaiah 43:10

We need to realize God has no competition, no one is equal to Him! He alone is in control of all things and He is totally focused us!

“For the LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our Lawgiver, Th LORD is our King; He will save us.” Isaiah 33:22

What a great comfort this should be the creator of the universe is totally focused on us and our well being! Our cares and worries are His, our hope and dreams matter to Him!

“And now, LORD, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” Psalm 39:7

Today we can have all kinds of things that can make us crazy! Don’t let it, remember the LORD is focused on you, so let us just rest in Him and place all our cares upon Him! Realize we are His chosen, so let us hope in Him! Have a blessed day!

Simcha Torah

“I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As light to the Gentiles.” Isaiah 42:6

As the LORD came to set us free from the darkness of sin, so to are we called to be lights in a dark world! Shinning the glorious reflection of salvation to those around us!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

Psalm 119:105

To be a light all we have to do is follow His word, it directs us, corrects us and comforts us! Being in His word gives us the light we need to navigate this dark world!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royals priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

So today as it is Simcha Torah (rejoice in the His word) let us do what it says be lights in a dark world! Have a blessed day.

“And as for Seth, to Him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the LORD.”

Genesis 4:26

This is what we need today men calling on the name of the LORD, all men! How bad do things have to get before people realize that the LORD is the only solution to the problems of the world!

“In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.” Psalm 86:7

The LORD will answer when we call! Try calling almost any help desk and does a person answer or a machine and do you actually get help? That’s not how the LORD works we call He answers, when we call on Him with a humble heart, not like He is some kind if genie in a bottle!

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1

Today let us be praying for those in need of salvation around us, Because that is what the world desperately needs now! All men, woman and children calling out to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! No one else can even come close to what the LORD can and will do! Have a blessed day in Jesus!

“So he said, I heard Your voice in the Garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Genesis 3:10

How often do we do this, we mess up and then hide from the LORD, instead of calling on Him! We make a mistake big or small but then we try to cover our tracks, instead of confess!

“For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Romans 10:13

Often instead of confessing we get into blaming, that’s what Adam did “It’s the woman you gave me LORD.” Everything the LORD has done is perfect, complete and good. What we need to do is just listen, hear and do what He says!

“Oh, Give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the people’s!” 1 Chronicles 16:8

Today no matter what maybe going on around you; your fault, their fault or act of nature. Remember God is in control, and He has all things covered! So let’s not hide from Him but let us boldly go to Him! Have a blessed day.

“Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.” Genesis 2:3

Did God need rest because He was tired? NO! He rested because He was finished, His work was completely done, there was nothing left to do! Unlike us who always have a little more to do! So when we work six days, and take the seventh off we are celebrating the completed work of God!

“The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.” Psalm 145:9

“The LORD is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.” Psalm 145:17

In other words we are created by God, saved by God so let us live for God and rest in Him! Our work may never be complete, but we are completed in Him! So if life is stressing us out look to the LORD and rest in Him!

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

We have all kinds of things going on around us; uncompleted work, stressed-out relationships, disrupted lives and out of control life situations! But the LORD is complete gracious and full of mercy so let us rest in Him! Have a blessed day!
