Let’s do what the LORD says!

“Turn from your sins to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near!”

Matthew 3:2 CJB

The LORD really desires us to repent, turn from our sins and walk in His ways! How do we walk in His ways? By being in His word and doing what it says!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”

Psalm 119:11 CJB

We are so blessed to be able to open up our Bibles and read His word any time of the day. We literally have at our fingertips, it’s on our phones, computers and iPads. We can read and listen to His word anywhere! So let’s hear it and do it!

“However, Yeshua answered him, Let it be this way now, because we should do everything righteousness requires. Then Yochanan (John) let Him.”

Matthew 3:15 CJB

If our LORD does everything righteousness requires, spelled out in His word, so should we. Today, spend time in His word and then do what it says. Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom.

It’s all about Jesus.

“You will summon a nation you do not know, and a nation that doesn’t know you will run to you, for the sake of Adonai your God, the Holy One of Israel, who will glorify you.”

Isaiah 55:5 CJB

At the time this was written, America didn’t exist. In fact, this was written almost three thousand years ago. Why is this important? Because I believe it’s a call for us today to share the simple love of the LORD, not programs, building projects or what our financial goals are! We need to be simply sharing the love of the LORD. We really are living in a time where people around us are lost!

“Seek Adonai while He is available, call on Him while He is still nearby.”

Isaiah 55:6 CJB

Don’t wait, when the LORD calls and He is calling, answer Him! Let’s not be standing on the sidelines watching, but let’s get in the game and run the race to win! You and I belong to the LORD!

“All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.”

John 6:37 NKJV

Today, we need to realize we are called by the LORD, summoned to preach His good news of salvation. So let us seek Him, go to Him and know He won’t cast us out. You are called to share His good news. Have a blessed day simply just sharing the love of the LORD.

Don’t build towers.

“And they said, Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

Genesis 11:4

This is the same thing we see today, man is always trying to compete with God! Man has the idea that we can do anything God can do, through science, technology and philosophy! Man really thinks he knows more, just like Satan did.

Read Isaiah 14:12-15, it gives us a good picture of who Satan is!

“So the LORD scattered them abroad from over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.”

Genesis 11:8

Let us heed this warning in scripture and not try to compete with the LORD! He has all things under control, and we belong to Him.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

1 Peter 2:9

Realize, we don’t have to try and build towers, all we have to do is walk in His marvelous light! Knowing He is the perfect builder and made us for His glory! Have a blessed day walking in His light.

Life has ups and downs.

“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”

Genesis 8:22

In other words, we will have Good days and bad days, Joy and sadness, and Ups and downs the one thing that remains unchanging is the LORD!

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

So when we understand that life has issues and some we don’t really care to go through, like bad health, no finances and things that break! Remember, the LORD never changes and is always going to be our rock!

“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Psalm 18:2

Today, no matter what season your in, remember that the LORD is unchanging and unwavering. He is our refuge and strength, our solid Rock! Have a blessed day.

Hear the LORD and step out in faith.

“And Noah did according to all that the LORD commanded him.”

Genesis 7:5

This is how the previous chapter ended, Noah just did what the LORD said! First the LORD says build a ark, now He says, get your family and the animals then get into the ark and Noah just did it!

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by faith.”

Habakkuk 2:4

The example we see with Noah is that he hears from the LORD and then just does what He says! The same goes for us. Life is always easier when we just do what the LORD says, instead of our own thing.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

2 Corinthians 5:7

Today, don’t be proud. Exercise your faith in the LORD! Get into His word, listen for His voice and just do what He says! Have a blessed day!
