Rejoice in the LORD

“For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”

Hosea 6:6

No matter how many times we go to church or how many times we give, our LORD desires us to show mercy and to know Him, love people, not judge them, and learn and walk in the ways of the LORD!

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart – These, O God, You will not despise.”

Psalm 51:17

Today is a great day to spend time with the LORD, ask Him if there is any wicked way in you? Then deal with it! Spend time reading His word, praying about it and then implementing it into your life!

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”

Micah 6:8

Let us all spend some time with the LORD, being honest with Him and heeding His correction! The LORD desires us to walk in His joy and not to walk in the bondage of sin!

“Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.”

Habakkuk 3:18

Today, realize we are saved, so don’t let the junk of life drag you down! Repent, Return to the LORD and Rejoice in His salvation! Have a blessed day.

Arms of the LORD

“The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, Destroy!”

Deuteronomy 33:27

What a great reminder the LORD has gone before us and has destroyed our enemies, even the ones we may be facing today!

“I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.”

2 Samuel 22:4

Even if we feel like we are going through rough times and situations now, realize the LORD has you in His hands, His everlasting arms.

“For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous.”

Psalm 37:17

Know the LORD has you in His arms and He is our refuge!

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”

Psalm 46:1

Today, we may have issues, but just remember, you are in the arms of the LORD. He has you!

Have a blessed day.

We belong to the LORD

“For the LORD’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.”

Deuteronomy 32:9

What is awesome about this, is we are His people and we stand in the place He has appointed us to be in!

“Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.”

Psalm 100:3

We may think we are in some unique situation, a situation that the LORD has never seen before! Remember, the LORD knows all and sees all! Best of all, He knows you and all that you are going through!

“The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.”

Nahum 1:7

So, today, don’t look at the situation, but, instead, look to the LORD and put all your trust in Him! Have a blessed day!

Don’t judge the LORD

“When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha.”

John 19:13

How often do we judge the LORD? We can judge Him about our situations, our health and our messes. We need to realize everything will work out!

“This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Psalm 118:24

Our minds can wonder and imagine all kinds of things that never happen! We often complain and judge the LORD, asking why or how did you let this happen? Remember, He is in control!

“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

John 19:30

So for us, when we hear about the sour news of life, don’t judge just give up the spirit of fear and despair. Remember, all things come to pass and will be finished, but with the LORD, it’s a new day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Seek the LORD

“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, Whom are you seeking?”

John 18:4

That’s right, the LORD knows all things, so why do we seek information and help from a unknowing world? Always seek the LORD first!

“For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether.”

Psalm 139:4

We are all seeking, searching and looking for something! We need to realize in every case it is the LORD we are looking for!

“Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”

Psalm 124:8

Yes, the LORD made heaven and earth. He knows all situations even the messes we make! The solution for any situation, we may be in is the LORD! Whom are you seeking today?

Have a blessed day seeking the LORD!

Shabbat Shalom.
