God will see you through.

“And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.”

Genesis 45:7

Understand while we are going through the wilderness (hard times) it’s hard to see the hand of God in our lives! It’s usually when we are on the other side of a trial we see what the LORD was doing! That’s what Joseph is seeing now, twenty plus years later!

“A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.”

Proverbs 16:9

We can make plans or try to design ways out of our situations, but know this: the LORD has a perfect plan! It really is hard to see it when we are in the midst of a trial, but take hope, the LORD has overcome the world!

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

So no matter what you may be going through today, know this: the LORD has it covered and has it all worked out!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28

So today, just love God, know that you are called and the LORD has a purpose for you! Have a blessed day in Him.

You’re right where the LORD wants you!

“For how shall I go up to my father if the lad is not with me, lest perhaps I see the evil that would come upon my father?”

Genesis 44:34

Here we see Judah take responsibility for his mistakes and the mistakes of his brothers! What a great example for all of us. Just simply man up, don’t blame others for our bad decisions! Realize, even with bad choices we are still right where the LORD knew we would be and He still loves and cares for us!

“For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work “For how shall I go up to my father if the lad is not with me, lest perhaps I see the evil that would come upon my father?”

“For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.”

Deuteronomy 2:7

You may ask, if the LORD has been with me all these years, then why don’t I feel blessed? The biggest thing we have is salvation, but we also need to realize this isn’t the promised land. Heaven is, and we aren’t there yet! The LORD is always near us as we go through life, guiding us to Him, even using our foolish mistakes!

“The LORD will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.”

Isaiah 58:11

Today, realize that even in times of drought, feeling left out and forgotten, the LORD has a plan and you’re in it! Things are really working out, even though you may not see it, but they are!

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28

No matter what may be happening in our lives, good or bad, realize you really are right where God wants you! So love Him and reflect His love for those who are around you to see! Have a blessed day in Him.

Listen to the LORD

“While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them; and a voice from the cloud said, This is My Son, whom I love, with whom I and well pleased. Listen to Him!”

Matthew 17:5 CJB

We all can hear or listen to the LORD, the key is listen and then do! Often times we talk a lot to the LORD make some demands, and then start doing what we talked about, but never hear what the LORD says! We really need to listen to the LORD!

“So that your trust might not rest on human wisdom but on God’s power.”

1 Corinthians 2:5 CJB

We all have situations we are dealing with, some big and some small. We can and do call on the LORD, we may even get together and have a prayer meeting, which is a good thing. But do we listen for the still small voice of the LORD?

“Desist (be still), and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.”

Psalm 46:10 CJB

We need to do what the psalmist says here: Desist, be still or be quiet and listen! The LORD is speaking, often times we need to be silent and listen! Today, let us call on the LORD make our prayers known then take some time and listen before you step out and do! Have a blessed day listening for the voice of the LORD!

Cling to the LORD

“Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

Matthew 16:24

What Jesus is saying here is simply, “Just say” ‘No’ to “yourself” bring along your execution stake, so every time your fleshly desires come “up” you can say ‘No’ to them and execute “them!”

“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”

2 Samuel 22:31

Also, we need to ask what and who do we identify with? Is it the LORD, is it the world or do we go back and forth? Remember, His way is perfect!

“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Luke 16:13

Today, let us deny ourselves and identify with Jesus, no matter what the cost! Don’t compromise, you may get ridiculed, made fun of or even left out. Just remember, Jesus will never leave you or forsake you. He really has you covered, so cling to Him today! May your day be richly blessed!

Shabbat Shalom!

Look to the LORD

“At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, Ask! What shall I give you?”

1 Kings 3:5

If the LORD asked us, “What shall I give you?” We may ask for all kinds of things: health, even though we’d still die; a new car, maybe, even though it would become an old car, or mass riches that would consume our lives! What we should ask is: LORD what do you want!

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”

Micah 6:8

We all ask this question at one time or the other: “God what do You want from me?” The answer is always going to be, to walk with Him, talk with Him and place our faith in Him! We need to be consumed by the LORD!

“Keep My commands and live, And my laws as the apple of your eye.”

Proverbs 7:2

We will never go wrong when we have more of the LORD in our lives!

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

John 14:15

In this chapter, Solomon realizes he is nothing but a child who knows nothing! We are so like little children whining, complaining and making messes! Today, let us take some time and get into the word of God and ask for understanding! Have a blessed day walking, seeing and hearing things The LORD”S way and let’s reflect the light of the LORD!
