We all need to be reminded

“And Moses said to the people: Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.”

Exodus 13:3

Moses is telling the people to remember the victory the LORD has given them. He rescued them from the tight grips of bondage! The same goes for us, the LORD rescued us from the tight grips of bondage also! Even if you’re going through some difficulties now, remember the LORD saved you in the past, so just call out to Him and know He’ll do it again.

“But You have saved us from our enemies, And have put to shame those who hated us.”

Psalm 44:7

You may ask why does the LORD save us from one situation then allow another? I believe so we can see how dependent upon Him we are and to be a witness to the lost and encouragement to other believers!

“And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, This is done because of what the LORD did for me when I came up from Egypt.”

Exodus 13:8

What was done for Moses? God provided the Passover Lamb for the children of Israel, who applied the blood! The same goes for us we need to remind our children about Jesus our Passover Lamb. No matter how your day is going, good or bad, remember, Jesus got you out of bondage, and He’ll do it again, so let us all go out today sharing the fact that Jesus saves! Have a blessed day!

God knows all!

“So Pharaoh rose in the night, he, all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.”

Exodus 12:30 NKJB

This is so true. Most everyone acknowledges God when tragedy hits! Unfortunately, it takes death to get arrogant, prideful and hardhearted people to at least acknowledge God! Not always in a good way though! What we need to do is look for the LORD in every situation.

“The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.”

Psalm 145:9 NKJB

The LORD is aware of every situation, He see’s all and knows all! Even if things aren’t going right for you at the moment, understand the LORD is working it all out!

“But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! Then you will become children of your Father in heaven. For He makes His sun shine on good and bad people alike, and He sends rain to the righteous and the unrighteous alike.”

Matthew 5:44-45 CJB

Today, no matter what situation you are in good or bad, God sees all and knows all! Don’t wait for the tragic situation to happen (like godless people do) to acknowledge Him! Instead, look for Him in, every situation, good or bad, because He is there working out His perfect will for us! Have a blessed day knowing all things are going to work out, so just love the LORD!

We are covered

“Then there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was not like it before, nor shall be like it again. But against none of the children of Israel shall a dog move its tongue, against man or beast, that you may know that the LORD does make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.”

Exodus 11:6-7

What is the difference? Honestly, there is no difference between Egypt and Israel, there is also no difference between believers and unbelievers as people, the only difference is the blood of the Lamb!

“For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your house to strike you.”

Exodus 12:23

Something we all need to be reminded of is it’s not about us, it’s all about the LORD! It is He who saved us, it is His blood that redeems us!

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from sin.”

1 John 1:7

What great news to know all we have to do is call on Him and know His blood covers our sins! So, just like the children of Israel we need to plead the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and we will be saved! Have a blessed day knowing His blood has you covered!

Peace in the LORD

“Then he said to them, The LORD had better be with you when I let you and your little ones go! Beware, for evil is ahead of you.”

Exodus 10:10

This is so like the world. Pharaoh is instructing Moses on what he can and cannot do with the LORD! The funny thing is, godless people do the same, instructing believers where and when we can worship the LORD and then take credit for good things and blame God for the bad things! The only evil ahead of anyone is for those who don’t have the LORD!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

The world really has nothing but evil planned for you, but the LORD has peace, a future filled with hope!

“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

Numbers 6:24-26

Today, realize when we call upon the LORD, He gives us His peace! When we look to the world we have stress, uneasiness and frustration. Choose the LORD today, focus on Him, not the world and its messes and know that He is with you! Have a blessed day, knowing He has a future and a hope for you!.
