We may feel like the world is pushing in around us, making us feel out of place, which can be a good thing as we congregate around like-mined people, people who love the LORD!

“She gave birth to a son, and he named him Gershom [foreigner there], for he said, I have been a foreigner in a foreign land.”

Exodus 2:22 CJB

We should feel like strangers in this world and the more we look around the more we see how strange it is!

Remember, God has a plan and we are in it!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

So today, don’t be stressed, depressed or in distress! Remember, the LORD is our leader so let’s gather around Him knowing He has a perfect plan for us!

This should be comforting for us that as we walk through our day the LORD covers and shades us!

He also guides us by lighting our paths and keeps our hearts warmed by His word!

“Adonai is my light and salvation; whom do I fear? Adonai is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?”

Today, know that life can be rough, but the LORD shades, protects and lights our paths so rest in Him!

We all need to be careful of running from our problems instead of dealing with them! Here we see David running from his problems and then pretending to be crazy, so he goes from one thing to another!

“With You I can run through a whole troop of men, with my God I can leap a wall.”

We need to remember the LORD has us in every situation, even if it doesn’t seem like it at the time!

“As for God, His way is perfect, the word of Adonai has been tested by fire; He shields all who take refuge in Him.”

Psalm 18:31 CJB

Today, be careful of running and hiding, instead seek the LORD and His will for you!

We will always have enemies or adversaries through out life. What we need to do is look for ways to glorify God even in times of trouble!

“Then I will generously sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, Adonai because it is good, because He rescued me from all trouble, and my eyes look with triumph at my enemies.”

Today, look for ways to glorify the LORD even in our trials and through our adversaries! Have a blessed day in Him!

We always need to be cautious and thoughtful about what we do and say, always keeping in mind that there are people who are out to destroy us!

“Protect me like the pupil of your eye, hide me in the shadow of your wings.”

Even when people are out to destroy us, know that the LORD has us in His wings!

“Adonai protects all who love him, but all the wicked He destroys.”

Today, don’t be boisterous and loud, but instead be still and know that the LORD has you covered and protected!
