Again we are continuing on with the fact that when we seek the LORD and listen life is always going to go better! Problems start to occur when we start seeking other peoples opinions first!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

When we don’t know what to do the best thing we can do is just keep going through the word of God! Don’t skip around the word looking for something that fits what you want, but instead just keep reading His word book by book, chapter by chapter and verse by verse!

“Many peoples will go and say, Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Adonai, to the house of the God of Ya’akov (Jacob)! He will teach us about His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion will go forth Torah (instruction), the word of Adonai from Yerushalayim.”
Isaiah 2:3 CJB

Today, let’s do things the LORDS way the first time, be in His word, doing things in His order!

Like David here we need to consult the LORD, before we do anything and then wait for His answer!

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai!”

Life is full of choices left or right, up or down, stay or go? What we need to do is be in God’s word, praying about everything and then waiting for the LORD to answer! We all need to be careful of doing things without the LORD, even commenting on social media!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, let’s be careful on what we say and how we act, but be prayerful before we do anything!

Here we see David consult with everyone but the LORD, and we know how the rest of this story works out! Uzza reaches out his hand to steady the ark and the LORD kills him!

“Seek Adonai while He is available, call on Him while He is still nearby.”

When we look to man, often times we get the wrong answer, misleading directions, leading us to foolish decisions! When we seek the LORD, we will never be let down!

“For here is what Adonai says to the house of Israel: If you seek me, you will survive.”
Amaos 5:4 CJB

Today, let’s seek the LORD and His word for everything, because He will never let us down!

Just like the children of Israel, who were wandering in the wilderness, we can feel the same way! The LORD saves us from the world (Egypt) and at times we may feel like we are wandering in the wilderness.

“I don’t ask you to take them out of the world, but to protect them from the Evil One.”
John 17:15 CJB

We may be in the wilderness, but the good news is that the LORD has us and is protecting us from it! So no matter how things may look or feel, we have the LORD, who has us!

“He holds the depths of the earth in His hands; the mountain peaks too belong to Him.”
Psalm 95:4 CJB

As we see the things happening around us, things can get us uptight and uncomfortable! Understand, as we are walking in the wilderness (world), know that the LORD has us right where we need to be in His hands!

Not that David was sinless or perfect in any way, he still desired to follow after God! With that said, like David, we all need help and we need to help others!

“They helped David against the raiding band, for they were all strong, brave men who were commanders in the army.”

As believers, we all may have different views, different callings and different opinions, but we all follow the same LORD of LORDS, the creator of the universe! So helping each other is always going to be better!

“Therefore, openly acknowledge your sins to one another, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:16 CJB

Today, don’t look at our differences, but instead look at what we have in common, the LORD! Then build on what unites us and help one another, lifting each other up in prayer!
