What do we fortify ourselves in? Life is always going to be better if we fortify ourselves in the LORD, building ourselves up in Him!

“Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the LORD.”

We all have to take a step out into the world. Whether it’s going to work, school or just to the store, we all have to step out, so be prepared by being fortified in the LORD!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, as we go out into the world, let’s spend some time in the stronghold of the LORD!

It’s always wise to treat people kindly and respectfully! Even when we might not understand people, we still need to treat people well!

“Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 19:18 CJB

The LORD desires us to love Him and love our neighbors, treating people with kindness! When we are kind towards others, it will always make it easier to share the love of the LORD!

“He who pursues righteousness and kindness finds life, prosperity and honor.”
Proverbs 21:21 CJB

Today, let’s really try to treat people kindly. It will always open more doors to share the good news of salvation.

Like Solomon we need to be looking to and calling on the name of the LORD, because we need His wisdom also!

Everything we need is found in the LORD, our needs, our desires and His directions!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
1 Chronicles 16:11 CJB

Today, the best way we can shine is by seeking the LORD and His wisdom! The time we are living in really needs it and we as believers are the only ones who can reflect His glory! Don’t submit to the world but submit to the LORD!

In other words, we need to stay away from hanging out in sinful places! Be careful of getting all caught up in the news of the day, internet sites and places of sin! Be careful of getting angry or upset with events of the day, which Leads us to sin!

The world we are living in at this time is extremely backwards! What we need to do is not to get upset, but look up!

“If the world hates you, understand that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world-on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world-therefore the world hates you.”

Today, be careful of getting caught up in the sinful world, but instead get caught up in the LORD!
