“Y’hoshua summoned all Israel-their leaders, heads, judges and officials-and said to them, I am old; age is taking its toll.”
Joshua 23:2 CJB

Like Joshua, we all get older and age does take a toll on us physically! The cool thing here is Joshua doesn’t whine about it, but uses this moment to instruct and encourage the people in Adonai!

“Therefore take great care to love Adonai your God.”
Joshua 23:11 CJB

The best thing we can do is cling to Adonai and know it is He who gives us strength and wisdom to do what He has called us to do right up to the end of our life here on earth!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

No matter if you’re young, old, weak or strong, we all can give glory to Adonai and proclaim His good news to the world around us!
Have a blessed day proclaiming the greatness of Adonai!

Look for Yeshua in everything!

“The Mighty One, God, is Adonai! He knows, and Israel will know-if we acted in rebellion or treachery against Adonai, don’t vindicate us today!”
Joshua 22:22 CJB

What was going on here is the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Manasseh, built a replica altar to remember God not to replace Him! When all was said and done, Pinchas the Cohen investigated and found they were being legit! The point is to be careful of judging until we know all the facts!

“All who worship images will be put to shame, those who make their boast in worthless idols. Bow down to Him, all you gods!”
Psalm 97:7 CJB

We need to be honest in what we worship! Whether it’s politics, recreation, jobs or finances, to name a few! But having reminders of God and who He is, is acceptable!

“God is spirit; and worshippers must worship Him spiritually and truly.”
John 4:24 CJB

We need to worship God honestly and in His truth found in His word, but having reminders of Him in our homes, in our cars and in our life is always something positive in our walks with Adonai!
Have a blessed day looking for Yeshua in everything we do and have!
