Be a sweet smell

‘Your anointing oils have a wonderful fragrance; Your name is like anointing oil poured out. This is why young women love You.”
Song of Solomon 1:3CJB

What a beautiful picture of Yeshua, our King, our sweet smelling aroma, who should permeate our lives!

“Out of Tziyon, the perfection of beauty, God is shining forth.”
Psalm 50:2 CJB

We all know that God is coming to get us soon, we also know that we will spend eternity with Him in His glorious Kingdom! So let’s rejoice in Him now and share His wonderful fragrance of salvation!

“Yah is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. This is my God: I will glorify Him; my father’s God: I will exalt Him.”
Exodus 15:2 CJB

Today, let’s be a people who share the sweet—smelling fragrance of Adonai and His Salvation!
Have a blessed day!

Be in His word

“In addition, my son, take heed: one can write many books- there’s no end to it; and one can study so much that it wearies the flesh.”
Ecclesiastes 12:12 CJB

In other words, there can be so many books and commentaries written, but at the end of it all, it’s the only the Word of God that matters!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

It is the word of God alone that can guide us and direct us! What we need to do is be in it, studying it and doing it!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the word says, but do it.”
James 1:22 CJB

Today, more than ever, we need to be in the Word of God, hearing and doing it!
Have a blessed day!

We have good and bad days!

“For if a person lives many years, let him take joy in them all; yet remembering that there will be many days of darkness, that all to come is futile.”
Ecclesiastes 11:8 CJB

We may live many days, and in that time we have what we call bad days and good days, filled with the struggles of life! What we need to do is rejoice in all things knowing that Adonai has all our days perfectly numbered!

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

Even though we may have some bad days doesn’t mean we have to let them control us!

“For I, Adonai, your God, say to you, as I hold your right hand, ‘Have no fear; I will help you.”
Isaiah 41:13 CJB

We all need to embrace every day we go through, good or bad! Why? Because Adonai has it all covered and is with us every step of the way and we will see His glory in everything good or bad!
Have a blessed day!

Things are upside down

“Another evil I have seen under the sun, the kind of mistake rulers make, is that fools are promoted to high positions, while rich occupy humble places.”
Ecclesiastes 10:5-6 CJB

We see this happening around us today, fools being promoted to positions that they are completely unqualified for and have no business having!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

We definitely live in a time where fools are running governments and institutions the world is completely out of control with foolishness! Just look at our government, colleges and media and see the incompetence! The good news is God has it all covered!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

We shouldn’t be surprised with the upside down backwards world we live in! We should be looking forward to the perfect kingdom of God which is coming soon and very soon!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray before you speak!

“Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but a person who makes a mistake can destroy much good.”
Ecclesiastes 9:18 CJB

In other words, think or pray before you speak or act! How many stupid and foolish things can we say or do on any given day? We will always be better off when we seek God and pray before we do anything!

“When you seek Me, you will find me, provided you seek for Me wholeheartedly.”
Jeremiah 29:13 CJB

We all really need to be seeking God in every situation, it is a good habit to get into!

“I will seek You with all my heart; don’t let me stray from Your mitzvot (commandments).”
Psalm 119:10 CJB

Today, let’s spend as much time as possible seeking Adonai!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
