The point God is making here that Syria has committed so many crimes against God and His people that judgment is coming no matter what! Realize God is always watching over us!

“For Adonai watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed.”
Psalm 1:6 CJB

God, really does watch over us and protects us and one day will deal with the unrighteous!

“I said to myself, The righteous and the wicked God will judge, because there is a right time for every intention and for every action.”
Ecclesiastes 3:17 CJB

We need to take comfort in the fact that God will deal with sin and sinners! We don’t need to worry, just look to Adonai and walk in His Salvation!

“Such enormous crowds in the Valley of decision! For the Day of Adonai is upon us in the Valley of Decision!”
Joel 4:14 CJB

We need to understand that life is full of decisions! To buy a house, to quit a job, to move or go to school, to name a few! Some decisions are life changing and some are just daily choices, but we still need to make them! The biggest decision any human can make is whether to follow God or deny Him!

“Eliyahu stepped forward before all the people and said, How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow Him; but if it’s Ba`al, follow him! The people answered him not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21 CJB

We can’t falter between two opinions! We either choose to follow God or the world! We need to make that decision here and now!

“No one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to God and money.”
Matthew 6:24 CJB

Today, I hope and pray that we can make the decision to follow God, not the world and its disgusting practices!
Let’s choose to follow Adonai and not the gods of this world! Let’s be like Joshua,

This is good news that God so loves us that He made it real simple to be saved! All we have to do is call on Him, repent and walk in His ways and His ways aren’t burdensome!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

If you love God, then doing what He says should be easy!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB verse 4 in other translations.

The best thing we can do in life is cling to Adonai and do things His way!

God will change His mind when we change ours and repent! His judgment is coming, but He has given us a way of escape by accepting His free gift of Salvation! Simply confess, repent and walk with God!

Today, if you aren’t right with God, then the day of Adonai is going to be terrible, but when you repent it will be grand!
