Our lives are filled with all kinds of troubles, big and small, but the biggest troubles we have are the ones that never happen at all! We all can make bigger problems out of what isn’t a problem!

“Don’t worry about tomorrow; who knows what will befall you today?”
Jewish folk saying!

“What I am leaving you is shalom (peace)-I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourself be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

There are things in life that can and do stress us out, but ask yourself how much of that is stuff we just imagine?

“Can any of you by worrying add an hour to his life?”
Luke 12:25

The answer here is NO!
We all can and do spend way to much time worrying and making up scenarios in our heads that never happen! Don’t! Instead simply trust and believe in Adonai!

“But I, I trust in You, Adonai; I say, You are my God.”
Psalm 31:14 CJB

The answer to all our problems, even the ones we imagine, can be found by trusting God and searching His Word for answers!

It is real easy to love people that we love and care for, it is harder to love someone who persecutes you or reviles you!

“Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.”
Leviticus 19:18 CJB

Adonai really does desire us to love our neighbors as ourselves! We all need to be careful of holding grudges, taking vengeance or talk trash about people! We need to love those around us, besides the world really needs love!

“Don’t plot harm against each other; and don’t love perjury; for all these are things I hate, says Adonai.”
Zechariah 8:17 CJB

So, no matter what may happen today, let us reflect the love of Adonai!

We are supposed to follow Messiah and do as He says! He wants us to be fishers for men, meaning He wants what we have in Him to be desirable to all those we come in contact with! Also, like the disciples, are we willing to drop all to follow Him?

“At once they left their nets and went with Him.”

Instead of mending nets, so to speak, let’s be like the disciples and follow Messiah and help mend lives of lost people!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, instead of pointing out sin and worldly behavior, let’s proclaim the greatness of Adonai!

We are living in a desert wilderness and are we crying and preparing hearts to receive Yeshua? Are we being like John the Baptist preparing the way!

“A voice cries out: Clear a road through the desert for Adonai! Level a highway in the Aravah (highway) for our God!”

Are we sharing the message of salvation? We are called to proclaim the Good News!

“But you are a chosen people, the Kings’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB also Deuteronomy 7:6-8

We always need to be reminded of this: God has chosen us out of the dark world to be His representatives for Him!
