Move on

“His servants asked him, What are you doing? You fasted and wept for the child while it was alive; but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat food!”
2 Samuel 12:21 CJB

What an amazing concept, David was praying and fasting while the child was alive and could be saved, but when the child died David moves on!
Ask yourself, do we hold onto things once things have passed or situations are over? Or do we move on?

“He answered, While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; because I thought, Maybe Adonai will show His grace to me and let the child live.”
2 Samuel 12:22 CJB

Well this didn’t happen and David accepted God’s perfect will and moved on! This is something we all should try to do accept the will of God and learn to move on!

“Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by; I am doing something new; it’s springing up-can’t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 CJB

So don’t get caught up with past events you can’t change! Instead look to your future in Yeshua, which is filled with hope and a future in Him!
May your day be richly blessed!

Hang out with Yeshua

“David sent messengers to get her, and she came to him, and he went to bed with her (for she had been purified from her uncleanness). Then she returned to her house.”
2 Samuel 11:4 CJB

The main point being made here is they are both guilty of adultery! Sin often takes two people and both are guilty, then it become cancerous, infecting other people!

“When you see a thief, you join up with him, you throw in your lot with adulterers, you give your mouth free rein for evil and harness your tongue to deceit; you sit and speak against your kinsman, you slander your own mother’s son.”
Psalm 50:18-20 CJB

When we hang out with sinners, it starts to become easier to sin! When we hangout with believers, we find forgiveness in Yeshua! So let’s hangout with Yeshua!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

So let’s hang out with Yeshua and His believers. It’s hard to sin when we hang out with Yeshua!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!
Shabbat Shalom!

Victory in Yeshua

“When all Hadad`ezer’s vassal kings saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they made peace with Israel and became their subjects. So Aram was afraid to help the people of ‘Amon any more.”
2 Samuel 10:19 CJB

When we see people come against God and His people then are defeated by God, many people give up their desire to attack God! What’s that mean? We stay strong in Yeshua, because we will always have victory in Him!

“Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 CJB

No matter how things may look and how big our attackers may seem, we need to stay strong in Adonai!

“If Adonai hadn’t been for us when people rose to attack us, then, when their anger blazed against us, they would swallow us alive!”
Psalm 124:2-3 CJB

The reality is that without Adonai we are defeated, with Adonai we have victory!
Have a blessed day standing with Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

God helps

“But M’fivoshet lived in Yerushalayim; he always ate at the king’s table, and he was lame in both legs.”
2 Samuel 9:13 CJB

Just like M’fivoshet we are lame, but he knew that the best place to be was at the king’s table!

“Planted in the house of Adonai, they will flourish in the courtyards of our God.”
Psalm 92:13 CJB

Good question here: what house are you planted in? The house of God or the house of the world?

“If I raise my eyes to the hills, from where will my help come? My help comes from Adonai, the maker of heaven and earth.”
Psalm 121:1-2 CJB

Yes, all our help comes from Adonai, anything that is good comes from Him!
So have a blessed day living in the house of Adonai!

Glorify God

“David gained more fame on returning from killing 18,000 men from Aram in the Salt Valley.”
2 Samuel 8:13 CJB

God is keeping His promise to make David a great king and Israel a great nation! By giving him victory over his enemies and expanding the land!

“I have been with you wherever you went; I have destroyed all your enemies ahead of you; and I am making your reputations great, like the reputations of the greatest people on earth.”
2 Samuel 7:9 CJB

The truth is this, that Adonai is with us everywhere we go! The question is; are we going with Him or are we going against Him? When we are with Him we will always have a good reputation, without Him we are tarnished!

“May the favor of Adonai our God be on us, prosper for us all the work that we do-yes, prosper the work that we do.”
Psalm 90:17 CJB

We should be praying this today, May Adonai give us favor, prospering us in all we do and His reputation be glorified!
May your day be blessed by Adonai!
