We are all pretty quick to get angry, but God isn’t! We are all slow to forgive, but God isn’t! What God is: He’s compassionate, merciful and full of grace! This is what the world needs now more than ever!

“He has not treated us as our sins deserve or paid us back for our offenses, because His mercy toward those who fear Him is as far above earth as heaven. He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:10-12 CJB

When we simply repent, He just forgives and forgets, we just need to be more like Yeshua and not hold on to things! Let’s be merciful!

The answer is: Nothing can be against us, because we belong to Adonai!

God is saying to Jeremiah, don’t worry about the fact that you’re going to be resisted and harassed by people for telling them to repent! God tells us to do the same thing: share the Good News of Salvation, even though you will be resisted and harassed, don’t worry because God is with you!

“Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 CJB

We don’t need to worry about what people think! Why? Because Adonai is with us every step of the way, so don’t fear!

“Adonai is my light and salvation; whom do I fear? Adonai is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?”
Psalm 27:1 CJB

We really are blessed that we have the Creator of the Universe right by our side!
So don’t worry about what the world can throw at you! Because God goes before you and walks with you guiding and directing you!

We all have the frustration of doing and saying things that we know are wrong! We all have bad habits that we can be ashamed of or struggle with! Be thankful we have the King of Kings we can count on to get us through!

“Adonai is good, a stronghold in time of trouble; He takes care of those who take refuge in Him.”
Nahum 1:7 CJB

Yes God is good, He’s our stronghold and He takes care of those who take refuge in Him! Who do you put your hope in?

“Adonai is my Rock, my fortress and deliverer, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my shield, the power that saves me, my stronghold.”
Psalm 18:3 CJB

To keep from doing the things that we hate we need to call upon Adonai, who is our shelter, refuge and total help in times of stress, doubt and trouble! We need Adonai to do and say what is right!

Here is a thought if our old sinful self is dead! The point Shaul is making here is a dead man can’t sin, because dead men can’t do anything anymore! Why? Because they are dead! We who are alive in Messiah need to be living sinless lives! How? By immersing ourselves in His Word, which is living!

“I treasure Your Word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”

The more that we are in the Word of God, the less we will sin!

“Teach me, Adonai, the way of Your laws; keeping them will be its own reward for me.”
Psalm 119:33 CJB

The best thing we can do when we feel anxious, angry, abused or have anxiety is to be in the Word of God! Actually we just need to be in the Word of God for everything, His Word gives life!
