This is true not only among believers but throughout the world! People spending time just being busy bodies, gossips and complainers!

“We command such people-and in union with the LORD Yeshua the Messiah we urge them-to settle down, get to work, and earn their own living.”
2 Thessalonians 3:12 CJB

What a good word for many people today! SETTLE DOWN! And start being productive and positive, get out there and make a difference in the world around you!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

Be careful of being lazy, or idle or a gossip, but instead let’s be busy for Adonai! SETTLE DOWN and calmly get out there and do the work of Adonai!

God doesn’t force Himself on people, so if people want to reject Him, He will let them go astray and believe the lies of the enemy!

“The result will be that all who have not believed the truth, but have taken their pleasure in wickedness, will be condemned.”
2 Thessalonians 2:12 CJB

Understand, God will allow you to have your own way, but having your own way can and will lead you to ultimate destruction! But when we choose Him we will always have His perfect peace and we will be filled with His joy!

“My lips will shout for joy; I will sing Your praise, because you have redeemed me.”
Psalm 71:23 CJB

God, has given us so many reasons to be filled with joy, what we need to do is follow His ways, because all His ways are perfect any other way Leads to death and destruction!

Unbelievers and deniers of God will get their just penalties for rejecting God! Judgment isn’t up to us, it is up to God, what we get to do is share the Good News of Salvation!

“Be glad in Adonai; rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you upright in heart!”
Psalm 32:11 CJB

As believers, we have so much to rejoice about, we are saved! Because we are saved, we won’t experience eternity in eternal destruction, but instead we will get to rejoice in His presence for all eternity!

“For I will proclaim the name of Adonai. Come declare the greatness of our God!”
Deuteronomy 32:3 CJB

What we get to do is proclaim the glory of Adonai, rejoicing in the fact we are saved!

There is no one good but God! So that is who we should cling to!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 verse 4 in other translations.

The best thing we can and get to do is cling to God! Why? Because He is good in everything! While we cling to God, we should be wise and flee from anything to do with evil!

“Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 CJB

Today, let’s cling to God. When we cling to Him an interesting thing happens evil (the Adversary) flees from us!

These last few verses are speaking of how the fact is we are all going to die! We can be sad that others have gone before us! Grief is normal, but continued grief for believers shouldn’t be! Why? As believers we should know that one day soon and very soon we will be with Adonai in His Kingdom!
So let’s comfort one another with that glorious news!

“Comfort and keep comforting My people, says your God.”
Isaiah 40:1 CJB

God wants to comfort us, not condemn us! He wants us to have peace not grief! The only way we will find that is in Him!

“I, yes I, am the one who comforts you! Why are you afraid of man, who must die; of a human being, who will wither like grass?”
Isaiah 51:12 CJB

Yes, it’s Adonai who comforts us, not man! Sadly, we tend to seek comfort from the world and all its trappings instead of God! So, as believers, let’s encourage each other in God and His comforting words of Salvation!
