Look to the green pastures of Adonai

“Seeking pasture for their flocks they went to the entrance of Geder, as far as the east side of the valley.”
1 Chronicles 4:39 CJB

When we need to find a pasture to feed on, do we look to Adonai or the world?

“Adonai is my shepherd; I lack nothing. He has me lie down in grassy pastures, He leads me by quiet water, He restores my inner person. He guides me in right paths for the sake of His own.”
Psalm 23:1-3 CJB

Is Adonai your shepherd and are you filling yourself in the grassy green pastures of Adonai, or do you get caught up in worldly dry pastures?

“Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for you are with me; Your rod and staff reassure me.”
Psalm 23:4 CJB

The point here is that there is nothing that can destroy us! Why? Because we have the King of kings on our side! So don’t look to the dry pastures of the world, but the green pastures of Adonai!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Don’t run

“But the army of the Kasdim (Chaldeans) went in pursuit of the king and overtook him on the plains near Jericho; all his troops deserted him.”
2 Kings 25:5 CJB

This is how sin works. It overtakes you and those sinning with you abandon you! The good news is when we give our lives to God, He never leaves you!

“No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Joshua 1:5 CJB

God is always with us when we step out before Him. It’s when we abandon or deny Him that we fail! But He is faithful and just to keep us! So why would we want to live one day without Him?

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9 CJB

So when we fail, don’t try to run and hide, but instead confess and watch how God will forgive!
Have a blessed day walking with God!

Yeshua gives shalom

“It was then that the officers of N’vukhadnetzar king of Babel marched on Yerushalayim and laid siege to the city.”
2 Kings 24:10 CJB

This is how the world works, it sucks you in and then lays siege on your life! The only peace we will find is in Yeshua!

“What I am leaving with you is shalom-I am giving you My shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.”
John 14:27 CJB

As we see the world in all kinds of conflicts: social, economical, physical and political! The cure is and always will be in Yeshua!

“He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. Then they will hammer their swords into plow-blades and their spears into pruning-knives; nations will not raise swords at each other, and they will no longer learn war.”
Isaiah 2:4 CJB

So let’s put our hope in Adonai, who gives peace and doesn’t lay siege upon our lives like the world does!
Have a blessed day!

Remove sin

“He took the ashram from the house of Adonai to Vadi Kidron outside Yerushalyim and burned it in Vadi Kidron, stamped the ashes to powder and threw the powder onto the burial-ground for the common people.”
2 Kings 23:6 CJB

This is how we should remove sin, totally destroy it so there is nothing to return to! That’s what God does to our sins when we repent!

“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:10 CJB

When we repent He forgives, forgets and completely removes it!

“He who conceals his sins will not succeed; he who confesses and abandons them will gain mercy.”
Proverbs 28:13 CJB

Sin kills! But confession and repentance bring liberation!
So have a blessed day removing the sins that bind us!
