God hears

“Adonai said to him, I have heard your prayer and your plea that you made before Me: I am consecrating this house which you built and placing My name there forever; My eyes and heart will always be there.”
1 Kings 9:3 CJB

God always hears our prayers and is always watching over us!

“Understand that Adonai sets apart the godly person for himself; Adonai will hear when I call to him.”
Psalm 4:3 CJB

We who belong to God are set apart for Himself and the amazing thing is He hears and answers us when we call, so keep praying!

“Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear.”
Isaiah 65:24 CJB

How cool is this that Adonai is already answering us before we even call! Does that mean we shouldn’t call! No! That should mean we should talk to Adonai even more because He listens!
Have a blessed day calling on Adonai!

God is faithful

“Blessed be Adonai, who has given rest to His people Israel, in accordance with everything He promised. Not one word has failed of His good promise, which He made through Moshe His servant.”
1 Kings 8:56 CJB

The idea here is that everything God promises happens, He keeps every one of them!

“Today I am going the way of all the earth. Therefore consider in all your heart and being that not one of all the things Adonai your God said concerning you has failed to happen; it has all come to pass; nothing has failed.”
Joshua 23:14 CJB

Everything that God promises has happened or will happen, His promises never fail!

He said: “He will never leave us or forsake us.”
Hebrews 13:5

We can count on God!

“God is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes His mind. When He says something, He will do it; when He makes a promise, He will fulfill it.”
Numbers 23:19 CJB

So glad we don’t serve a God who changes His mind! He means what He says and says what He means!
Our God is solid and totally reliable!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Make God the center of your life

“Solomon built a palace for himself, taking thirteen years to finish it.”
1 Kings 7:1 CJB

Interesting thought here: it took Solomon seven years to build a house for God and thirteen years for himself! Do we spend and give ourselves more than we do for God?

“Doing Your will, my God, is my joy; Your Torah is my inmost being.”
Psalm 40:8 CJB

We need to have God at the center of everything we do! In order to do that we need to spend more than seven minutes with Him in His Word and in prayer!

“I treasure Your Word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Some of Solomon’s problems will arise because He spends more time on himself than Adonai! This is a lesson we should all learn that the more time we spend with Adonai, the less time we will fall into foolishness!
Have a blessed day knowing all things are from God and we need to dedicate all to Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

Do what God says!

“In the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, which is the eighth month, all parts of the house were completed exactly as designed. Thus he was seven years building it.”
1 Kings 6:38 CJB

A basic thought here is are we building and doing things as God has designed or are we doing things our own way?

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

Gods ways are always better than our ways and His ways are always higher and better than ours!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

So let’s be like Solomon, he didn’t only hear from God say build, but he did it!
Have a blessed day building what God says!
